Hiii Nishitha, I'm a final year student from India and planning to enroll in MS CS program at UC Davis. As someone with 0 work experience (i just have 1 internship, 1 freelance work and 2 small research internshis relevant to my course of study), I'm very scared I didn't sit for campus placements as I had plans for masters, now I'm kinda regretting this decision looking at the US job market.. could you please suggest me on what should I do.

Hi Nishita, I have got an admit to UCSD for my masters in Business Analytics for fall 24. As suggested in your previous videos, considering the current job market it is recommended to make it to a good university. Is UCSD good for their analytics program ?

UCSD is very good but analytics programs are fairly new, so wouldn’t be as well established as their engineering programs. Talk to current students and seniors before deciding.

Hii Nistha, I'm going to UW-Madison this fall 24 for MS in Industrial Engineering. I've one year of workex in India. So is this field also slowed down like CS or is it still advisable to go and pursue masters?

All fields are impacted a bit but nothing has been fundamentally destroyed. Have a plan in place and as I said, be prepared for Jobhunt from day 0.

Both are solid. You decide US vs Canada. I’ll personally try Stonybrook because I’ll take my chances on US first. In case visa doesn’t work out, I can try shifting to Canada anyway but if I join Waterloo, it’s more difficult to come to US.

You will have to check for 3 yr graduation eligibility as well as programs which are open to commerce folks. We don’t have a ready list for it but try on us news etc
