hi~ can you explain the characteristics of mahaleb rootstock? good and bad thing of mahaleb?

Tolerance to drought, hot summer, poor soils, high pH and the fruit ripens earlier. Bad for heavy wet soils,not fully compatible with all cherry varieties and mahaleb is somewhat dwarfing.
