How to Pull a Well Pipe and Well Point using only Hand Tools and Hoist Pulley

6 жыл бұрынI pulled my 20 foot well pipe (24 foot well) to change a clogged well point after getting cloudy well water and reduced well water flow. I was able to use only hand tools and a hoist pulley with pipe fittings and adjusting rigs. Disclaimer: One must be cautious because at times excessive tension could cause equipment failure or cause bodily injury.

Great job, we are in the process of pulling our deep well pump in AZ. 600' yeah, our water is deep. I'm thinking of posting a video on The Arizona Outriders. There are a few off roaders who have stolen my name, but search and you will find. Give me a few days after Sept 4 2022

I have a 72' well that hasn't been used in 30 years. Want to get it working. 2" galvanized with a 1 1/4 intake line. Thinking check valve may need replacement but now, after watching your video, point may be rusted out as well. Should I just hook up a jet pump and see what happens? Need to pull intake and replace check valve? Rust and corrosion ruined the whole thing? Thoughts anyone?

Try the jet pump. You might get lucky. We had a similar situation and it worked fine. Pulling all that stuff out is a pain

@@wildswan221 Thanks! I've pulled the check valves before and it is a lot of toil and sweat. I'm gonna try setting up the pump and see what happens. Like you said, maybe I'll get lucky! Thanks again!!

fuuuuuu k summer time ground hard / spring ground wet soft I got a 2" pipe in solid ground already ripped up 1/4 metal & 18" pipe wrench
