How to pull out a furniture drawer

The first mounting option is the easiest.
As runners, wooden blocks or corners are used. They are located on both sides and are attached to the walls of the cabinet. A drawer rides along them. To pull out the drawer on such runners, simply pull the handle of the drawer and completely pull out the drawer from the furniture. This is a drawback of this type of skids, since the drawer, when fully extended, does not remain in the furniture, but falls out of it.
To set the drawer on such rails back to the furniture, simply install the bottom of the drawer on wooden blocks and slide it in.
The second version of skids for furniture drawers is roller guides.
These runners are metallic and have plastic rollers in them. Such runners make it possible to push the drawer almost to the end, and at the same time, the drawer does not fall out of the furniture. The disadvantage of such runners is that they are not designed for heavy loads. Do not heavily load boxes with this type of guide.
To pull out the drawer on the roller guides, you need to fully extend the drawer, slightly raise it, pull it towards you, lower it down and pull out the drawer.
To install the box in place, you need to perform the same actions in reverse order. Holding the drawer in an inclined position, hit the rails with the rollers, raise the drawer and finally set the rollers on the runners to push the drawer.
The third type of skids for furniture drawers is telescopic skids on metal balls. Such guides can withstand a greater load compared to roller skids. Also, furniture drawers on such rails can be completely pulled out of the furniture and they will not fall out, since such runners have locking latch levers.
To pull out the furniture drawer on such runners, you need to fully extend the drawer, lift the locking lever on the left side up and push the lever on the right side down. You need to do this at the same time. After that, pull the box towards you and pull it out of the rails.
To install such a box in place, you just need to insert part of the skids attached to the box into its place in the sliding part of the rails and completely push the box. There will be a characteristic click, which will inform that the latches clicked and the box fell into place.
