SECRET SAUCE: you can move your preset files to your kits folder and they will pop up on the left and you can drag them in instead of having to open up your files every time

bruh for the past 2 yrs whenever i'd finish a verse i'd just be clicking every recording from the chorus individually & swiping over to the end of the track to bring it all back together & it sometimes it took so long.. puttin me on game rn lol thanks for that, i didnt know it was that easy

Gunnr I’ve just seen this but from how me and my bro’s do it we just use the default 100 track because the vocals automatically assign to it. But I always unlink from the master on my microphone channel because I can’t stand the delay on the feedback. I never knew you could adjust that in settings ima go try that out thanks Bud!

Instead of recording on 2 tracks, just click the “post” button and switch it to “pre” it’ll only record raw vocals

my fl used to disallign my vocals too! update it it should fix it i dont remember what version but i used to hav that problem too. theres also some workflow things u can do to make the recording process alot faster im actually gonna make a tutorial on really soon

Put your vocal on a dry channel with the mic routed there then route that channel to another channel with the efx, that way your plugins aren’t permanent and u can make changes but everything will be pre routed and organized

@@gunnr Like you don't have to open two channels and link your mic to both, just take the raw one and after you unlink it from the master send it to the channel with the efx on it, that way it will record without efx printed, but they will still run through the efx channel, and it will automatically route the recordings there without having to assign the channel on the individual recordings each time. also, press you can just press R to stop and start recording also, its a good idea to bring the beat volume down to leave headroom to avoid distortion. I would do this before even routing it to a channel with the little volume knob on the channel rack, or in the arrangement by double clicking on the beat and using the volume knob there.

Can you make a video on it.. this does have some steps that make it kinda time consuming. But that’s dope of how he has like no latency. So your saying pick a channel for vocals, unlink it to the master signal or the other channel ? I did not read your text that well I’m just excited and would like a better description on this or direction

why does it seem like my routing works differently than yours on the same version of FL? when i route the effects everything goes mute and i cant hear anything at all. idk if it has to do with muting the raw vocal track or what but i did everything step by step and its not the same :(

@@dannyperalta9118 i found that where you put your input 1 on the left there should be this box with an arrow inside that says “post” click it and i don’t remember very well what it says but a setting from there should allow you to record and hear yourself with autotune without having to allow the red button on

Great video but I can’t seem to mute my raw vocal track the way u did, and also every time I record with my plug ins I listen back and it’s just my raw vocals. Just got fl and very confused 🤷♂️ I can here my plug ins while I record, but listening back is a raw vocal.

@Sumire.1 uh yeah. I record with the track with the plugins and it's still connected to the master. So while you record you hear the effects but then when u change the channel of the recording clips, the effects are removed. If your recording this way the plugins u use must have low latency otherwise you won't be able to record because your voice would be delayed. So I usually put autotune and some compressor and eq then move everything to a new mixing track and mix it all after with more plugins
