Twice a month because if you use it too often the hair will get darker and darker.

If I color my hair dark brown, it's recommended to wait a day before washing. Will the purple shampoo get rid of the brassy tones a day after using dark hair dye?

We recommend waiting 3 days to shampoo after coloring hair. The purple shampoo only works for levels 9 and up (blonde) purple shampoo only neutralizes yellow tones, if you are experiencing brassy tones on dark hair you need to use blue shampoo. Blue neutralizes orange tones.
