The findings of the paper suggest that double majors experience 56% more protection against earnings shocks compared to single majors. 🔒 This means that even in times of economic uncertainty, double majors are better equipped to weather the storm and maintain their earning potential.
Moreover, the study finds that the more diverse your skill set, the better. Specifically, double majors with vastly different fields of study experienced even greater protection against earnings shocks. 🌈 This highlights the importance of developing a wide range of skills and knowledge to succeed in today's rapidly changing job market.
