connection to github does not accept your account password now. It requires a token that can be generated by going to settings> developer settings> personal access tokens.

profile>settings>developer settings>personal access tokens> tokens(classic) > generate new token ( classic )> give necessary permission and click create. save the token. and use it.

Same Procedure. First Commit will save changes in local repository. And then Push will send those changes to your remote github repository
