How To Put A Bridle On A Horse - Teaching Him Step By Step, In this video, I will show you how I teach a green horse to be bridled - note the horse I use is not green but the principles remain the same. I show you how to put a bridle on a horse step by step and I explain how to bridle a horse that throws his head.
Putting a bridle on a horse is a basic skill that all horse riders need to know but in this video, I will delve into how I teach my horses to do it in a willing way. If you teach him the way you want him to behave from the very beginning and then have patience while he learns you tacking up a horse will always be a pleasure.

I just brought a yearling (1.6 years home) and have discovered that he has two bad habits he’s learned. He nips/bites and bolts on the lead to the right if he decides he wants to go see something he finds interesting. I am now using a rope halter to help with pressure and taught him to turn in to me (left flexion) if he thinks about bolting to the right. Ant tips on how to correct both behaviours? He’s already 15’2….

Hello! So I'm wanting to train horses, your videos have been very easy to understand and follow I really appreciate you making these for beginner trainers. Sadly I haven't been able to start yet but I will soon!! Anyways I'm wondering if it's safe to make my own halter and lead rope ect. I know there are certain measuresments that need to he taken for my horse to be comfortable and safe. So to the point if you believe it's safe what kind of rope would you reccomend me using for this kind of project.?

Hello Rebecca, Thank you for your kind comments. I believe that you can certainly make your own ropes and halters. There are plenty of resources online to help you with that and I do believe that most people make their halters and ropes from yachting ropes. I hope that helps.🙂
