So did you have the grill from Amazon painted after you received it? And then the grill insert goes into that part?

Yes. Bought the grille from Walmart. Bought the insert. Removed the insert it came with, had the grille surround painted, installed the new insert!

Love your step by step, fo I have to by the Amazon grille frame also. If I do then what’s better . Buying it off Amazon and painting it my self or buy the pre color matched one from the yota garage

Definitely the pre color matched if they have your color! It's much more cost effective.

Got the grill and insert in, all clipped in but only like 3 of the existing bolts lined back up to bolt it to the brackets and hood. Bottom sticks out a little and the little rubber stops on the bottom don’t touch the bumper but it’s on so I’m done fighting with it

I want to do this but I have an 07, What's the difference between 07 and 10? Can I use the 2010 on my 07...?

Yes but you will need new grill brackets.

No sir. The grille comes black. You can order some colors in paint match though from The Yota Garage I believe.
