Looks like you have some dielectric around the base of your center conductor sir. It may be the lighting, but figured I'd mention it just in case so no one makes that common mistake.

How do you take the f connector off?

Once the f-connector is installed, it is a permanent part of a complete cable assembly. The installed connector cannot be removed without damage to the cable and connector.
