I like the idea of having them be KH specific versions of the characters because that’s a common thing in comics. I’m both intrigued and terrified of what they would look like. I’m cool with a Marvel world. But not Star Wars. Never Star Wars. I’m surprised Marvel hasn’t done a crossover and that would just break SW internal consistency.

We are definitely on the same page about not really wanting MCU at all in KH so I really like your compromise here of making them the FF equivalent. Great video all around, also are you still planning to make the KH2 world ranking video? I am beyond excited for it.

Marvel in Kingdom Hearts sounds like an interesting idea

I always had the mindset that if Marvel were to get into Kingdom Hearts, it wouldn't be the MCU specifically but a Marvel-themed world that takes cues from the MCU (kind of what your idea for this video went into). I think your idea works for an introductory Marvel world, but I would like future KH games to further diversify their Marvel picks. I'd love to explore Asgard or go on an adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy and come across Captain Marvel. As for Spider-Man, I feel like if a KH game dedicates time to him, he'd have an entire section dedicated to himself. He's *that* popular to where he could carry an entire world on his own. Plus, my pro-Spidey bias wants to see him in KH in *some* capacity.

The crossover we need

I would love to see a video discussing how to put 20th Century Fox stuff in Kingdom Hearts, given Disney owns them. Stuff like Avatar, Night at the Museum, Ice Age, Alien, Predator, etc

So basically make it its own marvel world the same way it will be its own KH world. Don’t adapt the mcu just make a marvel world! Honestly especially when it comes to games marvel has shown more diversity it style and rosters recently so I think that’s the best shot, marvel has so many worlds and universe’s and continuities, it only makes sense it’s relationship with KH would be unique. Could even open the door for an active Comic Line, since Marvel and Disney are already doing crossovers like Donald Duck and Wolverine, and multiversus is getting its own comic soon

alternatively, have a kingdom hearts spinoff game focusing EXCLUSIVELY on marvel. if it does well, have the second game be the main character from the first going to star wars

I feel like people do too much with this. It's really simple. You're gonna do it like you would the coliseum. The world is avengers tower with expansion into New York. You show up and see Spider-Man fighting a bunch of heartless. You team up. The avengers join. Just the OG line up. They see the way you work and like your stuff. They consider you to join the team so you go through a bunch of trials. They also scout Spider-Man during the initial heartless attack or maybe he didn't get noticed and Spider-Man tells you how lucky you are to get a shot at joining the avengers and you convince him to come with you. Boom, Spider-Man is your teammate. You do a gauntlet style tournament with an avenger or avengers fighting you at the end. Hawkeye and Widow will be the boss for the first gauntlet. Cap for the second, Iron-Man for the third and Thor for the last. Maybe fight all the big three at the end of a special 5th gauntlet. Hulk will be a summon. Loki is the big bad. He's the only other villain besides Thanos with a large presence in the universe and he fits better into KH than any other villain. The Disney Infinity designs are already pretty close to KH designs so something like that should be your art direction for them. I don't think it should follow any movie plot. Avengers Assemble is a great example of drawing a lot of inspiration from the MCU but still being its own complete thing and that should be what happens in KH. Other heroes can be found on other worlds. Doctor strange talking to Merlin. Shang Chi hanging out with Mulan. Captain Marvel or Star Lord flying around with Stitch. Shit like that. Have a little side quest from Fury to recruit the other heroes to the Avengers for the final boss fight with Loki and some other big bad. Also, while we're adding franchises, give Darth Vader the Sephiroth treatment and make him a secret boss. That'll be the only bit of Star Wars in the game. 20:45

I like this idea, though if had to add or change anything, I would have Ultron leading the Masters Of Evil, which would consist of Baron Zemo, Abomination, Madame Masque, Baron Mordo, Razorfist, Crimson Dynamo and Absorbing Man, it's basically the team from Earth's Mightiest Heroes but with some changes to fit The Avengers you chose to have in this world
