Is this too complicated for a kindergartener to use? I know they have the bentgo kids but just feel like there are times I need some bigger compartments than what the bentgo kids offers.

Is there any issues for you with it sealing properly? Like things spilling out if it gets shaken even a small bit?

Well, sometimes the food gets out of the slots, but that's only if its really shaken up, I've been using it and there has been no leaking problems.
