Thank you for your video. I just received a topper with curvy waves from Hairdo brand today and have never used the hair clips before, or even used a topper before. This video made it very clear how to use the clips and kept me from sending my topper back to HSN. The two Australians in the video are cute as can be. Ah...I also noticed I had bought a topper from another company way last March 2022 and it has sat unused because I didn't know how to keep it in my hair (had only used wigs before.) Now, I have 2 new toppers to experiment with and glad I didn't waste my money. I do need the extra coverage because of alopecia.

You can see the transition in the front. The topper sits higher in the head. This is the problem I have noticed with these kind of toppers

Hi Karen, you must have an eagle eye! We didn't modify this topper for the video, ordinarily, we'd customize it for our clients in order to create perfection.

What happens if u have receding hair were the clips are no hair can clip ,does that mean you have to have a wide front to clip were the healthy hair is?

The clips can be repositioned to areas where the hair is thicker. Or you can choose a different size topper to suit your needs. That said, the clips don’t need much hair to remain secure. They are quite remarkable!

James in Melbourne here. Looks great Andrew! Good job 🙂 Do you guys do them for men as well? I reckon the clip in units are great. I’ve seen videos of them for men in India - but this is the first one I’ve seen for clip in units here.

Hi James, Yes we can do clip-in for men. Most guys opt to not use the clip-in as they like a more seamless transition between their own hair and the system. Also, it means the unit / hair system needs to be larger in size (you need to clip into better quality hair) and our preference is to keep the hair systems as small as possible, usually just the size of the thinning area - less is best IMHO.

If you have hair at the front of your head, you can still use a clip. However, as most men are bald at the front we’d recommend using adhesive strips to secure the front of the system. These are very strong and secure.

I’m sorry to hear about your condition, it sounds very uncomfortable. Yes, we have very light and breathable toppers. The Petite topper used in this video is an example, it’s made from highly breathable lace and light hair density. They come is different sizes to suit the level of hair loss. It might be a good solution for you. 😊

You’d be surprised how little hair is required for the clips to securely hold on the topper. The clips have been designed for people with thinning hair and tens of thousands of women around the world are enjoying the benefits of it. 😊

Warning, the constant clipping will cause bald spots over time. Ask me how I know!

Yes it is possible. Usually, it’s because the has been topper clipped in too tight ( you can securely clip in the topper with a reduced tension on the hair), or, the clips haven’t been rotated to another location to rest the hair - this should be done every couple of months. It’s a good point to be made aware of. However if you do these basic things you should avoid it.

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for the feedback. I guess we could have customized the topper or our our team members bio hair (by colouring it) so the hair colour is a perfect match. However, the primary purpose of the video is to show you how to put on the topper so we didn’t feel the need to make these changes. When purchasing a topper from us we always spend time perfecting the colour integration and matching. I hope that helps. ❤️. Andrew.

@@ElizabethGalarza1without seeing the topper itself, there could be several reasons for the concern - how the topper is designed, the thickness of the base, the thickness of the hair, how it's styled, etc. If you are local, we'd be happy to take a look at it for you

They are called many things - toppers, topettes, top piece, top extension, volumiser, a partial, postiche, and last but not least "a closure". I guess it all depends on where you come from! : )
