This video shows you step-by-step how to thread the rope on a 6-1 Pulley System.
This shortened video just shows the threading of the pulleys. The longer version video shows the 6-1 already threaded with rope and shows step-by-step how you will thread it. The second part of the longer video is the threading of the pulley shown in this video.
The video is on a downhauler used for the main sail on a Hobie Cat 16. The same principle will be used for the main sheet system on a 6-1 pully system, except it will be reversed where the bottom pully in this video becomes the top pully and the top one becomes the bottom. The threading is exactly the same, you just turn the assembled pulleys upside down.
