Hi Nick, When unchecked the "show quick create" box in user interface and refreshed my playground, the + button is still there. So I'm confused as to what the quick create box actually does?

Can we add account and other custom objects along with tasks, opportunities

Hi Rahul, yes you are able to edit and add global actions. You will need to go to setup, use the search to find 'global actions', you can then create a new global action. I hope this helps!
