You just need to get a painting and then talk to blathers and pick the "i found a painting" to unlock its easier.

Have you given blathers one of each of the species in the museum as well. So fish, fossil, deep sea and bug….

For me the art museum was there already but I did donate some real legit art and I waited a day and blathers still wont talk to me about the cafe or brewster????

Is your island enough star rating? Sometimes our islands slip down because of redecorating? Check that if not I have pinned the Nintendo helpline which you can ring, if you have tried everything and it’s just not working. 🥰

When blathers said get a piece of art, I wrapped things up, saved and end. Then time travel to the next day.. Isabelle didn’t announce that there’s a stranger.

try time travelling a few days, it might be that Redd is being mean and making you wait for him to appear.

Is your island def 3 stars? Is your museum fully upgraded to the one with red banners on either side? Nintendo have also updated there fixes and said that if your still having issues it might be worth seeing if you have donating something to each area of the Museum (bug, fossil, sea, art) then wait 24 hours (time travel) before blathers will pop up with the bubble. As for Redd: you're only guaranteed Saharah, Kicks, or Leif on weekdays which means you get two other chances at Gulliver, Label, CJ, Flick or Redd, so you could be waiting weeks for him, if youre unlucky. But if you've reached 3 stars you can find Redd on Harv's island and buy a painting from him and donate to the museum that way, he changes he's paintings once a week and it costs, i think, 100,000 bells to get him. If you need more help, or it's still not working, Nintendo have a number you can ring, which is a pinned comment I have made 🥰

I dont have to get three stars for the island and all that do I thats way to hard and i cant fly to harvs island or whatever, I did find redd wandering around my island and i went on his little boat and got a legit not fake art statue, then donated it to blathers but, blathers wont talk to me about the cafe or brewster he just keeps saying "Might there be something with which I can assist you?"

you and me both Moriyah , Im gonna check again to see of I can get blathers to talk about brewster and the cafe but, let me know if you find a easy enough way how to make this work, this is why I bought this game for Brewster and the gyroids this needs to work

I did read that if your struggling you need at least 3 stars, I did pin the Nintendo helpline number if nothing is working for you and they might be able to help! I hope that helps 🥰

It didn’t work for me when I have 40 and every single one even including art it didn’t work. I couldn’t get his bubbles. I’m still trying to do it. It’s so hard but it’s a good tutorial. It’s mainly because I think I don’t have KAPPA’N

No they don’t annoyingly! It should! That’s a great idea!!! It shows you the fish (etc) if you caught it and then if you click into it , it shows you a blathers icon with donated, so you’d have to go into each item and count, sooooo sort offfff……

yes, you don't have to get brewster if you don't want the cafe in your museum or if you don't want the upgraded museum. This is just a video showing you how to get brewster if you wanted to, or if you are struggling.

you need at least 1 of every item in the museum as well, so bugs, fish, fossils, art and deep sea to qualify, hope that helps.

Is it 4 things overall to the museum? Because you need to donate lots to blathers, make sure you’ve donated to ever single area, read my other comments, if that still doesn’t help there’s a number you can ring at Nintendo who I’m sure they can help.

No, just 40 items and then have at least 1 in each category, I do a couple in each just to make sure

oh are you looking for Redd or Brewster? For Redd he could appear at anytime in a 2 week period, so you have to time travel everyday for 2 weeks to see if he appears, hope this helps.
