Started trading online in 2005 and I have never blown an account. In fact I'm still with the same broker with the same account. Demo accounts are crap it's much better to trade 0.01 lot to learn how to trade since demo accounts give traders a false sense of accomplishment. When I started making more money trading than what I made with my job I quit my job to trade for a living and never regretted it.

True. My demo account is currently 26 168 dollars in loss because I didn't want to give up my gold trades, and of course I bought a dropping knife. I still believe that I'll make thousands with those trades. I would never do that with real money.

This is one of the most realistic and accurate accounts of the path to successful trading. If you don't believe it or you think you can shortcut the process, do yourself a favor and pursue something else, save yourself the pain, frustration and money. But if you do believe the process, then stick to it and keep moving forward at whatever pace fits your current life situation and you will become successful. It's not always a straight path, but if you stay the course, you will get there. It's a journey and it can't be forced.

Excellent video wow for years!. I can say from experience he is right on with each stage . Stage 1 & 2 being the most important if you can bear the pain and continue to go stage 3 & 4 . I skipped demo and was trading live and funding accounts all blown, a very expensive route if you skip demo , has its pros and cons but expensive and can be avoided with demo , however in my last stage I continued to backtest to make up for demo , and I’m weeks or days away from passing multiple challenges after many failed ones . Took me literally a year and some change , so yes 1-2 years of consistent work . Great video

I'd advice not to use all strategy you watch or read online. different traders, different strategy. trying to put all together will only lead to you making more loss.

I wish I’d found your channel sooner!! Great advice!!! I started my trading journey two months ago, and I have literally made ALL of the newbie mistakes!! As you was talking, you was describing me! I have vowed never to trade without a stop loss ever again, after finding myself trapped in two losing trades. I’m now having to wait in the hope they recover whilst I bite off all of my nails in the process 😬 I know with your help I can do this though, and I’m looking forward to adding a more positive comment in the future 😁

Books and KZfaq are a great source. Rayner Teo actually does both. His channel gives video and pdf downloads per section/module/learning unit. And references great books for further study. Steven Hart is another great source for the same. (The Trading Channel ( KZfaq this two guys and as a start then get yourself a mentor locally. Someone reputable who doesn't sugar coat or try to sell you too good to be true systems. All the best.

Don't plagiarise. The phases of trader development can be sourced back to Jack Schwager's Market Wizards, or perhaps earlier. It's good to give credit rather than saying "I call it..." that turned me off. "guru" type comments which I expect you to be bigger than.
