Great video @WesMcDowellInc and Darren! Very informative and really broke down the local ranking factors that Google doesn't show you straight up. I thought the flipping of primary categories (06:39) for certain seasonal businesses was great! Never thought of that, just used the default primary and secondary category options.

Hello, amazing video, thanks a lot, My question is, what about an event company with no physical office (work from home), But I regularly make an event every 2 months in the same venue (hired). Everyone knows where is my event and of course, the location of the event should be where the venue is. How can I register my business there if I have no staff there always?, only when the event is happening. How can I rank it? Thanks for your content.

Can we request google to add new primary categories? ( For example I am a wedding videographer and best I can get is "Video Production Service" or "Wedding Service")

what category should I choose if my local business is painting homes and commercial properties. I only see 3 options; Painter,Painting, paint stripping company. any advice?

I'd do some simple keyword research to se if more people are searching for painter or painting, then use whichever one is more popular. Cheers!

So this swap of category seasonally won't raise a flag to google? I was under the impression every time you make a change it raises a flag for them.

I wouldn't think it would. I think you're pretty free to make changes anytime you want without google getting suspicious.

Im trying to write long form content about a medical niche. Do any AI content generators support user uploaded URLS to train the ai system? For example, I can upload 5 URLS with similar content. The AI system scans the website for articles and remembers terminology, tone etc. This way the AI writes better and faster.

Oooh I wouldn't touch AI writing. I tried it once and it was absolute garbage. The technology is definitely not even close to being ready for prime-time.

Hey Auretha! No, that was a KZfaq live, I think I used ecam live to bring him in for that. But the interviews I do now that aren't live, I use a service called riverside.fm. Much higher quality than zoom!

Ok so geotagging photos In GBP is a myth because they strip the meta, but what about on your website. Don’t you, Yoast, Wordpress still say that’s good?

Meta data on your website, like the description, titles, alt text etc is good. What was discussed here is that location data that ppl put on their photos. That doesnt do any good anymore.
