I have always found Keywords have been great in growing from No views to my current status of a steady trickle of views on my channels in a short space of time. It is work in progress but it made a huge difference .Thank you this was a great video

I had a bird call video with over 300k views from search. I had to delete it because youtube wouldn’t monetize it. It’s sooo hard trying to get them to rank any other of my videos in search and suggestions. KZfaq keeps getting suggesting my videos to foreign audiences. That’s what’s hurting! Thanks for the extra tips.

if your video couldn't get monetized, why did you delete it then? If that video does bring in your audience, you can make money from views on your other videos, right?

No, not necessarily. Monetization on KZfaq is based on the content of individual videos and whether they meet KZfaq's policies and guidelines. Having one video that doesn't get monetized doesn't necessarily mean your whole channel isn't eligible for monetization. However, if a large portion of your videos violate KZfaq's policies, your channel may become ineligible for monetization. It's important to regularly review your videos and make sure they meet KZfaq's guidelines.

I'm wondering if it's harder to rank in search as a new channel, since I made a second reaction channel, and when I used to post the commentary/reaction videos on my channel they would rank immediately, but on my new channel no matter how many key words I include in the description and how good my tags are the videos still don't rank, while having the same keywords they would immediately rank if I posted them on my main channel, so I'm wondering of these something behind it.

Age old theory! I've been messing around with a new experimental channel that I created about a month ago and focussed solely on growing it using SEO techniques, and it's gained about 61,000 views since then! All about optimizing videos and creating videos that perform well and send the right signals to youtube!

10:00 this is called "keyword stuffing" and is forbidden by KZfaq. If they catch you doing this, they can potentially end your channel.

Actually, if you read the KZfaq terms of service, which I’ve checked with a rep at KZfaq, it’s only not allowed if the keywords are irrelevant to your video. Like using crypto related keywords in a workout video description. My use is perfectly fine. ☺️

The main reason why not that many people change their settings after their video has been published is because many trainers have said making changes afterwards at all has either no effect or a very negative effect on any future rankings.. So in other words, it's pointless.. You're the first one I've heard to say: "change the tag keywords if it doesn't rank." And this is coming from someone who had actually asked the question from past KZfaq trainers.
