I was 14 when we left. Im 35 now and still struggling with the trinity. The brainwashing is real, dangerous and scary. Im a active bible reader and church member but still struggle with Christmas and blood transfusion. This is real. Please pray for these mislead people.

Hi Mike. I want to thank you so much for this teaching, I have watched again and again for months. Finally they knocked at my door. My son answered and said to them... "my mum wants to talk to you". I met with them last week!! I focused on the deity of Jesus Christ.. using the scripture you gave us here. I controlled the discussion and kept coming back to the scriptures. I then showed them Col:1 . I used their publications all the way through. Showed them the original greek. Asked the question about the word "other". First they denied that it was added (even though it was plain to see. Then they said it was only added to understand the scripture and it made no difference to the meaning. Wow!! That wall you spoke about was astonishing. I ended with Ray Comforts question "I have 3 minutes to live what can I do to be saved?" They danced around the question verbally. Then they asked me what I would say. The Holy Spirit just took my lips and I repeated scripture after scripture. Mike they heard and I leave the rest tpo the Holy Spirt that the seed of the word is generated in them. Two lovely ladies and we parted amicably. Thank you Yvett , Northampton, UK

I left Jehovah’s Witnesses at 30, it took until 44 to work through all the garbage in the basement. God literally had to go behind enemy lines and break the chains for me.....All Glory goes to him! I literally was 100% incapable of helping myself. Fortunately after years of loneliness God brought an amazing church into my life, and the caring and patient Body took the time to gently but firmly answer all my questions. Today God is developing a huge Men’s Ministry in our Church, and I am deeply blessed to be a part of that. If you are stuck after leaving, or trying to leave but afraid; pray to God that He will save you. He will! He rejoices when the least of us are saved!

Your lessons are spot on! For over 50 years of my life, I thought I knew Christ, and served faithfully as a JW. I loved the Bible and read it and studied it until I realised not one scholar of Greek or Hebrew respected the New World translation. So I got many respected translations and started to learn. Slowly I found people like James White and the late Walter Martin, who spoke with real depth of scriptural understanding. Then I did the unthinkable to a JW, I prayed to Jesus and asked him to either forgive me for not recognizing him as deity and open my heart and eyes, or give more faith in “God’s Organization”. Well, my eyes opened, my heart opened and the real Jesus showed up in my life. So do not give up, we are out here and we are spiritually abused and broken, we need to come to Christ for healing and for the joy of the freedom of the sons of God we were promised by the Watchtower but never had.

When I came out it felt like I was walking off a cliff or stepping into another chasm. It's definitely a mind bender. I'm so happy He left the 99 to rescue me!

As a former 3rd generation JW, what worked for me was hearing Christian testimony of how Christ renewed them when I was at the doors. This laid seeds for me. “...by the blood of Jesus and the word of their testimony“ 🤗

Thank you so much. Our daughter is engaged to a “non practicing” JW yet, these are his core beliefs. They plan to be married by a JW preacher (not sure how that works. But we are Evangelical Christians and we are praying for his salvation and our daughters return to Jesus as her Savior. If you see, please pray for their salvation. God bless you

It took me 16 years after being born into it. I’m praying for my mom to open her eyes.

I had a disgruntled attitude toward witnesses to begin with having been raised in it and not liking the control and always having to watch your back to avoid going in the back room with the elders. After leaving I started to read the Bible for myself. I saw that salvation was for "all" not just JW. I felt duped. I started reading the index of the nwt and comparing the scripture to their explanation of it and I saw it didn't match and my confidence in them was shattered. So began my search for truth and I sure found it! I am a born again believer kn Jesus as my savior and I take communion now as Jesus commands us! I have a hope and a future which is in Christ's hands, not a bunch of men!

Well I just had some nice ladies at my door and to be honest I have tried to prepare myself for these moments but I have a very bad memory and not at all great in debates like these. I just turned the tables on them and said that I really didn't think they were saved, that I thought they were greatly deceived , and urged them to seek the truth about what and why they believe what they believe. I felt the Holy Spirit rise up in me through this, and I do believe I came across as genuine, and maybe I managed to sow a seed of doubt in their minds.

I have been studying with her and another J.W. woman and I have known from that first phone call that I as a Christian who feeds on God’s word can show them the light which is Christ in You! So, every week, 1 day a week, we study the word and I read from the NKJV while we study, not from the New World Translation as these two lovely women do. I pray that the light of my reading them scripture from the NKJV will cause them to think. WE ARE ON A RESCUE MISSION

Thank you, this is the best video I've seen about ministering to JW's! I was a JW for 16 years (and have been out for over 14 years now), and what started making a "crack in the dam" for me was reading their old literature and seeing how much their beliefs have changed over the years. JW's try to excuse the changes as "new light", and even discourage reading their old literature, but the things in the old books were really shocking to me, and started making me doubt that the JW organization could possibly be acceptable to God. Another big thing for me was when I witnessed to Christian coworkers, they didn't put me down, but were willing to be patient and loving in their conversations with me, agreeing with what they could and then bringing up points for me to think about what they disagreed with. Also hearing about their own love for Jesus, and the answered prayers in their lives, really got me thinking. That was when I started opening up to doing my own research online, and then of course my whole JW faith fell apart soon after that. I am so thankful for those loving and gentle Christian friends!!

Just had 2 at my door 2 days ago. I was courteous, respectful then went to my go to scriptures. I first ask them if Jesus is Jehovah? Of coarse they say no, they will want to give you a scripture describing Jesus as the "son'', that is okay, let them. Then ask them to open their book (I refuse to call it Bible) to Isiah 44: 6 This is what Jehovah says,The King of Israel and his Repurchaser, Jehovah of armies: ‘I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me........Next get them to tell you who the 1st and the last is, they will say "Jehovah" .......then reiterate that it says "there is no God but me", they will agree.......now comes the closer. Turn to (again in their book) to Revelation 2: 8 “And to the angel of the congregation in Smyrʹna write: These are the things that he says, ‘the First and the Last,’ who became dead and came to life again:.........During the moment of silence ask them when Jehovah became dead and came to life again? At this point they will usually flee as the darkness does not like the light, but the seed has been sown and it is the power of Gods word that saves and does not return void.

For the first 4 years I lived here I have had very sweet Jehovah witnesses park across the street from my house probably 1 to 2 times a month then they would go walk around... God put something on my heart to help. After 3 hours of taking notes and researching the devil started putting thoughts in my head like you’re wasting your time, they will never listen, your going to make a fool out of you and God... BUT I did everything you said, I wrote down all the prophecies in my note app then waited for them to come. I was able to share the first two when they advised of an appointment they had to attend, however, promising to return. To my surprise a few months later one of the two came back with a church elder. I ran and got my notes then started off with my third and fourth piece of proof. The elder was much more forceful to lead me in a different direction. I was happy to listen and waiting for my turn. After I presented the fourth piece she threw her hands in the air and said, you’re not going to change my mind about my beliefs. I said, thats the Holy Spirits job not mine, we’re just talking. She paused then said they had to go but promised to return. It’s been one year and they haven’t even walked down the block. My husband and neighbors were shocked. So keep up the good work, your advice is working! Praise Jesus 🙌🏻

Bravo! Excellent insights! JW Survivor here. Grew up as one. In my mid-teen years, relatives brought me books, priests, and servants from church to save me. Nothing worked until they found an ex-JW who spoke their jargon and was able to have an informed conversation about the scripture. 30 minutes into our conversation, I knew I'd leave JW, because the first "brick" had already been pulled. Over the years I've accepted that the "Christian World" and the church are never perfect, but it was up to me to draw the boundaries of my relationship with the church and I was free to critique and reflect. I feel that now I have a deeper relationship with God, which is based on Love and Forgiveness.

One of the saddest things Ive ever heard : Ive had more than one JW tell me, "if Watchtower is wrong than I don't want to be right. I will die believing this no matter what it leads to in the end!"

Just watched this. My whole family except a few are JWs. The Kingdom Hall was my first experience with religion. I would go with my grandmother to Sunday Service , out in service and Bible Study. My mother wasn’t involved with them though( thank God for that). By the time I was 10, I was so influenced by my grandma and aunts and uncles I would look at a cross in disgust. Fast forward a few years and I was invited to a Pentecostal church where my eyes were open to the truth of the gospel and Salvation. The Holy Spirit did a marvelous work in my heart and I was totally transformed. Praise Jesus and the power of the cross. I have tried to witness to my family without any success. I have been praying for them for 40 years now, your instructions was like you are right on the money with their mentality. They know their Bible better than I know mine. So thank you for the wisdom and instructions on how to put a crack in their argument. God Bless you!

I have a good friend who is JW, & at a recent trip to the beach, i tried to witness a little, & show her truths, with Bible verses from my phone, because that’s all I had, & she said, “I’m not looking at that, just stop, because you are now pissing me off!” I was floored, & hurt, because I didn’t know all of this information you just gave, so I came to you tube to learn more… I’m going to continue studying , & mastering a single subject, using their material now, & pray she gets out of that deception, with the compassion & love of Jesus…

Speaking as a “born in” jw. You have great points and focusing on one thing is the way to go. Escaping is a slow process, help the person see a doctrinal issue then let them sit in the hell that being a jw is socially and culturally and that’s the recipe to getting out, Thank you Mike! 😀

What you said about 8:40 is so true. You don't have time to study the deeper things as a JW. Or test out your faith. When I posed some serious questions to my father (a JW elder) about 607bce and 1914 he said he simply doesn't have time to look into it. I had to quit meetings when I started to wake up to have time to actually really look into stuff. So glad I did!!

I appreciate your comments on the part "What's it like" to be a witness, but no one can possibly know unless you where one yourself. It's not just about the theology or twisting the scriptures or how it takes years to think differently. It's like "death" itself when you learn the "truth about the truth" and many do take their own lives when they come out. So trying to reason with one is almost impossible. All I can say is...keep it simple, plant a wee seed, and let it go, give it to Jesus to take care of. Just my thoughts as I was in for 50 years! Thanks for sharing, Blessings!

I stumbled into your other video about the false prophesies and I got to say you did an excellent job. I'm currently a jw but woken up since I got reinstated. This topic is very valuable for us since we want to try to wake up our family members. Bridget from AZ a KZfaq activist masters this technique. She concentrates in one topic and they always try to jump from one scriptures to another. But she puts them back in place. Thanks for putting all this videos up. They are very valuable for the ones whose still in mentally out.

Took me 4 years of reading and studying the ESV to unravel the deception and manipulation of the Roman Catholic faith. I lived in shame my whole life until then feeling like I wasn’t good enough. Now, as a born again, bible studying Christian, I feel so loved by Our Father. I was blinded, but now I see!!

You got it , it took me about a year to question the JW organization, an other year of 4 to 6 hours a day studying, then once I was out and convinced the JWs were lying to me, then in a short time I knew the real Jesus Christ and my life changed, you would not believe it, every day for years now have been better and better, practically living in ecstacy . Really knowing my Father and knowing that I can go to him about anything, any time and not be judged, it is just so different than the JW world of FEAR, OBLIGATION, GUILT, and sin, sin, sin and rules. LOL. I am so glad to be out. Thank you for all you do, your prayers for us are being answered, we are waking up and leaving.

I found this site by accident and it is the first time I felt like I had some "Hope" in ministering to Witness. My brothers and their family are all Witnesses and even though they are never mean, I am definitely an outcast because of my Christian beliefs. I have read and listened to so many things that scrambled my brain and gave me no hope or direction on how I can Witness to them. I love them dearly and my hope is someday I will be there as the scales fall away from their eyes. I can't wait to see more of your videos.

My best friend is a Jehovah witness and we have been friends since middle school , and I have always respected her beliefs , I am a Christian , I have always observed her passion for God and it’s so awesome , that sometimes I wish I could be dedicated to God like she is , or like they are , it’s just sad they spending it with wrong knowledge but thats all they know ! But everything you mention is true , we need to understand them !

This is so informative and super helpful. I’ve been welcoming the JW’s into my home over the past 2 years and I love the God-given opportunity to evangelize to them the REAL truth! as an ex jw I appreciate the kind way of attempting to reach beyond the brainwashing. I wish more did this. If they will ever listen this will get them to listen more than those who are angry or yell or call them cults etc. Most witnesses are good people that are just so brainwashed, isolated, and have been lied to for years or for some their whole life. Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your content on this particular topic. I watch a lot of your stuff, but I had an opportunity to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ with someone who is a JW, and I had watched a number of your videos and even purchased the Greek inter-linear book from the watchtower organization as a witnessing tool. We talked for probably 3 hours and the person was very open to listening because I had been equipped with knowledge of the belief system and conversations have their own pitfalls and walls to avoid, and things that are meaningful. They came away from the conversation telling me they were changed, and hadn’t talked to anyone at such a deep and meaningful level in as long as they could remember. They said I had given them a lot to think about. Glory to God. More conversations will be had soon 🙏

Hi Mike! Just wanted to say thank you for the work you're doing for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had an encounter with a Jehovah's witness last week but didn't have time to sit down with them; and boy am I glad I didn't! I didn't understand to the fullest extent just how hard it will be to crack that shell! I asked them to come back this weekend, so hopefully they will, and through diligent study, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit something might be said through me to at least plant a seed! It saddens me that deeply that these individuals have been led down this path and just pray that somehow God can use a wretched sinner like me to help reach them!

We really were locked in the tower and it's crazy how we didn't even know until we woke up..i appreciate all the compassion you have for the jws and your willingness to help as that is something I'm still learning. ... my husband and i used to add up our time when we were still jws because we never had time for ANYTHING other than jw life..we have 5 kids so it took a ton of time preparing for meetings and service.. Just for Tuesday night meetings I had to start the kids showers by 2 pm.. so 2-6 getting ready, studying and throwing a dinner in there.. then the actual meeting from 7-8:30 not getting home till 9.. so 7 hours focused jw time that one day. Oh and that does not include the extra extra time it took to prepare talks and demonstrations! That would take me at least a week😣 I wasn't that great at it lol

I recently spent some time talking to a couple JWs that came by - they even sent their backup when they realized I know more about the Bible than your average Joe - and it was very interesting. First, of the 30 minutes or so we were talking, we spent the first 20-25 minutes talking about the word and doctrine we agreed on. I asked them about their congregation, we talked about doctrine of love, original sin, and a mix of OT and NT ideas. The older gentleman of the duo said he grew up Catholic, so we spent some time talking about some of our concerns with the doctrine and history of the Catholic church. Specifically, we talked about the issues with Latin mass and scripture, and gatekeeping in general. I made the point that there should be no gatekeeper between you and your personal relationship with Jesus, and that rules and barriers placed by man have no place in your walk with God. He emphatically agreed, ironically! Then we briefly touched on a few places where our theology diverged in critical ways, but that was only at the end and I asked them to reach out so we could speak again. But what I think was very effective is that I met them with love and a pleasant smile, and I spent a lot of our time talking about what common ground I could that was still scripturally based, so I established a sense of trust with them. I spent almost 30 minutes talking to them about everything we agreed on before I mentioned anything about where we disagreed! I think that had an impact, as they didn't seem to be able to make sense of how I could be saying so much that they agreed with, based on the same scriptures they would cite, but then have such a fundamental divergence in doctrine from them. I asked them to come back so we could talk more, and I'm hoping to be equipped with a bit more substance for them, in terms of challenges to their beliefs. But in short, I think a great approach is: 1. Be kind and demonstrate love - they don't see much kindness door-to-door. 2. Show genuine interest in their thoughts and beliefs, even if just to understand them better. 3. Spend more time agreeing than disagreeing, when you can, in order to establish trust 4. Don't hang your disagreement on technicalities and small details - present the Gospel of Grace and trust the spirit to work

Thank you for this video...so helpful!! Quick story - years ago, two JWs came to my door - one was a convert and one had grown up in the church. I showed them the various passages where both God and Jesus call themselves the First and the Last, the Alpha and Omega, and the Beginning and the End. There's one in Isaiah 44, and the first two and last two chapters of Revelation. Ironically, it was the life-long JW who said, "I've never noticed that before!" I was so stunned I didn't know what to say! I still pray for that man.

Thank you for the enlightment, I needed to watch this video. There is a Jehova witness church in front of the buiding I live basically and I see them once in a while. I want to share the Truth to Jehova witnesses but I feel I'll just end up getting in an argument and emotional about it. I had observed that truth is not enough, like you said it's cracking inside their deceptive web of corrupted doctrine and most importantly with love. I want to thank you SO much for making this video! I became a Christian only a couple years ago. I had been dissfellowshipped for over 20 years when I finally got free from the JWs. It is so hard for anyone to understand what it was like if they haven't been through it. You have been given a real gift though of understanding because you are SPOT ON!! I had horrific, traumatic nightmares my entire life from my jw upbringing. Praise Jesus for saving me! So I've recently started preparing to teach a class at my church so people can learn how to share the gospel with JW's. My entire family is still in and I can't reach them but God told me even though I can't reach them, I can raise up people who can. Anyhow, sorry this is so long. Thank you for making the crack in my now previous faith turn into a valley of truth. I've lived under fear and suspicion as a former Jehovah's witness for so long being free from that is like having the Sun finally shine on my soul I can see the world for the first time through new fresh eyes and finally feel like I just might be good enough for Yahwah. Learning Jehovah is a mis translation was huge for me and lead me to ur video. Thank you for these strategies for I'm going to share with my family in hopes of freeing them. I know the birthday thing my mom always felt they were too strict about there's a scripture in 1st Corinthians I think about eating sacrificial meat from pagan sacrifices and as long as no one mistakes you as pagan, eat! By the look on my mother's face I think I finally put the first break in her chains. Thank you for going about this sensitive subject and such a loving and compassionate way. God bless!

Reading "So What we can do" I think are all good tips. I added a couple to my preparation, prior to witnessing to a JW. Prayer & make sure you are well versed in God's word. I just witnessed to a couple of them yesterday. Since, I know their theology I was familiar with the passages used. They started out with Psalms 37. I shared my beliefs & was never asked if I was affiliated with a church. What was great about this experience was I told them how God answered my prayers & how real God is. They actually listened to me for about 5 minutes. They are coming back to talk about God's kingdom. I love it.

I was the first dope in my family to get involved with the JW. So glad to have walked away. Now Born again, the real truth Jesus.....

I was raised as a JW and I remember I used to think that everyone making fun of us and hating us was proof we were the one true religion. So for those who want to attack JWs at the door or make fun of them online remember this could work in favor of the enemy. Instead show them the love and patience of Jesus. I thought I was doing God's will and was sincere in knowing what I thought was truth.

Hi Mike, just to let you know, that I was witnessing to a Jehovah’s Witness recently on John 12:41. Just to give you context, I’m from Sri Lanka and our mother tongue is Sinhala. In the Sinhala translation of the NWT, John 12:41 says “Isaiah said these things because he say the glory of Jesus and spoke about him”. After I connected Isaiah 6 to this verse, the witness admitted that Jesus is Jehovah and she started to tear up. It was amazing.

Hey Mike, love this video thank you so much! I have a group of Jehovah's Witnesses who have been coming to my door regularly because they believe they will pull me toward their beliefs. As a training Christian chaplain, my heart is to show them the truth. They frequently apologize to me on a regular basis because they are anticipating frustration from me. I feel that spending time in the Lord's word strengthens my faith even when I am reading their own material. Providing the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures helped not only give me something to use as teaching, but proved to me to me even more that Christ is Lord. Thank you for this!

Very very accurate and insightful. I was born into a Jehovah's witness family. Great work. The cult like feel is a bit mind bending. Submit. Everyone else is wrong. It honestly traumatic in a way. But there is positivity in absolutely everything at the same time. Hopefully I can talk to my family when I'm not getting stoned and drunk. 😲

I am born in JW. A simple way to get them to think is to ask them when ancient Jerusalem fell. They will say 607. Then ask them why all historians believe ancient Jerusalem fell in 587, not 607. Most likely, they will not have an answer. Then Google when did ancient Jerusalem fall while they are at the door on your cell phone. It will say 586/587. At this point, they will say they will have to do research and get back to you. If they come back, they will likely bring two articles from the 2011 watchtower on this subject. Tell them you will read them. When they come back, show them the footnote that says none of the historians in the article believe that Jerusalem fell in 607. This will have put doubt in their cornerstone belief for the 1914 doctrine. It all falls apart from there. They use the same cuniform tablets for all other dates except 607.

If your Spirit filled, just pray for the Holy Ghost to touch them, and watch them tremble under the Love of God. Jesus is King. "The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power."

Thank you for your clear and well presented presentation. I too, like many others commenting here was a member of the JW gang. I was not a patched up member as in an MS or an Elder etc but I was very much a black and white believer. At the time that I was leaving there were many other difficulties that I was struggling with including two teenagers, a separating marriage, and at the time undiagnosed adhd. I wish now that I had the presence of mind that I have now, however I did not and that resulted in my being shunned by many that were onxe friends and also some family. I am grateful for the time I have left even though I spent 19 years in the organization. I'm now happily free to think and say what I wish. It has not been an easy road since leaving the gang but the light sure does become brighter once you take those shades off. Peace and love to you all.

I always keep the topic on who Jesus is. They do try to talk about anything but.

I was raised from birth a JW. Even as a little child I felt things were wrong. I had nightmares about all the people being murdered at Armageddon. Teachings confused me. I was pressured into gettimg baptized as a CHILD. I was mistreated by the elders. But I was taught that there HAS to be a " one true religion" and if there HAS to be then this one is " the closest to the true religions compared to all the other ones". I was taught that no one is perfect, we are all human and " as a whole the organization is a good thing". So anyone suffering or confused in the organization just has to keep quiet and " wait on Jehovah to set matters straight" . There is a huge amount of allowance for error or changes...even if it's changes that go back and forth. They are also taught that anything negative is an automatic lie from Satan and his workers. That anyone who leaves is mentally diseased if they have anything negative to say about the organization and they should stay away from them because like a disease they can catch it! When I left it was because I felt like a hypocrite. I sat there and questioned teachings and didn't agree with everything. I could hide it, pretend I was a good JW but Jehovah knew! And my two kids were getting old for baptism age ( 10 and 11) and that terrified me! So I left and spent many years feeling guilt and so forth before I woke up. It was Geoffrey Jackson's testimony and the Australian Royal Commission trial that woke me up! I saw the lies and deception. I saw how I was treated was protocol from an elders manual that is unbeknown to the members. When I looked to what the Watchtower put out about the massive child sexual abuse problem...nothing! No warning! I saw a talk that Stephen Lett put out at a convention where he said it was all " apostate lies" That was it for me. Saw those men in a different light. And I researched everything I ever questioned almost 10 yrs after I left!!! So it's not easy to get to the witnesses! I've been working on my dad. He still talks to me and has been willing to talk a little. I've found you cannot blast them with all that you find out about the organization! You can't come to them with a list of things they are doing wrong or have been involved with. My brother actually did that with me before I left...i didn't even hear what he was saying...it was all crazy talk to me! Don't even remember what he said and it was alot ! The BEST thing to do is ask questions!!! Right in their website in an article it says " why don't you ask JW why they trust their rekigion?". I can't believe they put that out There! That is a GREAT question!!! I know how they will answer...the unity, preaching, using Gods name...those are all visible things. They are taught it's easy to identify false religion and their one true religion. But they ignore the bible when it comes to warning NOT to trust man or put your trust in men! That Satan disguises himself as an angel of light! He is the master at deception! He uses ministers! They use Matt 24 to point out the end time signs but always skip the very first sign Jesus actually warned about...and is probably the most important! He warned to look out or watch out that you are not mislead! A little further in the chapter he says it's possible to even be mislead by the chosen ones! They use verse 48 to prove there will be a Governing Body feeding them spiritually in the end days where it talks about the Faithful And Discreet Slave...and their Governing Body have taken that title and applied it to themselves proving they are the ones to feed Gods people. And there is no real emphasis on what that verse is warning! That even the Faithful And Discreet Slave could be thrown in with the hyprocrites! ( or anyone claiming to be ) I think this warning shows there DOESN'T have to be a one true religion and you CAN'T just put your trust in anybody or one group of men! You need to look out and make sure! So I want to ask JW HOW they look out and make sure of whom they are relying on to feed them spiritually. How they make sure the GB are not involved in anything that could get them thrown in with the hyprocrites. How they make sure they are not following Satan disguised as light. They are not allowed to make sure! That has to be one of the biggest red flags! Just recently in a broadcast a Governing Body Member said " Jehovah and Jesus appointed us, THEY trust us, YOU should too". They are asking for blind trust...which is completely against Jesus warnings! They are asking to go against the bible, against Jesus. In the Nov 2013 Watchtower ( I believe might habe to look that up) it was liking JW with being attacked like modern day Assyrians and that they may receive instruction that doesn't seem sound from a human standpoint....but they must be willing to obey ANY instruction" . This is why I fear for my family and friends still in. They are asking for full trust and obedience despite what the bible teaches. They need to be questioned on how they make sure of whom they are following and if there is anything the organization could be involved in that would show that it will be thrown in with the hyprocrites. I asked my dad....he could not answer....but I know he's thinking about it!

Pastor Mike ! I give ALL Glory to God for finding you on KZfaq. I have a testimony I am sure you have never heard before and AGAIN , ALL Glory to our Lord Jesus. But that is for another time. I wanted to express in my 40 plus years walk with God, I find you to be humble. A characteristic which is sadly missing these days in leadership. My prayer is you will always maintain that humility because it really is a wonderful attribute given to us by God's Grace. I know you are busy and now that you are in your 40s you may notice the days seem shorter as well as the years...lol. I would like to email you but don't know where to do that. In my younger years I had a heavy burden for JWs and studied everything I could get my hands on PRE-internet. I noticed that they always identified themselves as Christians and always suggested that my version of the Scripture was no different than theirs. What made it a lot easier to talk with them was I spent over two years making notations in their OWN bible. This was back in the day when they claimed their scholars attributed to giving them their version remained anonymous before they were exposed. Now A Days...JWs have gotten much smarter and have distanced themselves from such controversial things like the prophecies,the court examination etc. and have adopted a new term that "the light grows ever brighter" Well that's enough for now. If I could know where to email you so I could talk with you and if it be God's Will, possibly help me with some recent trials that I sense may be critical in God's Eyes. in regards to my walk.- God Bless you brother as you lift the Name of Jesus before all men.

Jehovah's witnesses doesn't think there is anything wrong with having a foundation of error. As long as there is "new light" they believe this means that they're doing something that is better than other religions. They're supposedly humble for making improvements. I'm disfellowshipped and my family has shunned me as if I'm under demon influence now that Im christian. They believe I'm rebelling against Jehovah God. My family that isn't baptized is also under the mind control of this false belief that anything that doesn't agree with the teaching of JW is under scrutiny.

Excellent teaching Mike, I have studied pretty deeply on this subject and put together a study guide book for myself loaded with lots and heavy hitting ammo, I did this because when I was born again one of the short list of people I wanted to share the truth with was an old work buddy who is a JW, I talked for hours on the phone debating with him and took him to task, many times cornering him, other times It went no where. I then attended a JW Easter style event where my work friend was the key note speaker, so as you can imagine he is well learned in JW doctrine, then I had dinner with him afterwards and again cornered him on the divinity of Jesus, where he promptly ended the evening, then in a later phone call he had even mistakenly lead me to win the debate by leading the talk to a passage I hadn't noticed that proved Jesus was God, and we have barely spoke since. I know its hard for him to leave as he was bought up in it and has a family, I feel it must have made a dent, in the end its Gods will, but now I have another page in my book written in thanks to you for future talks. I really appreciate it that he always brings it back to compassion, love and bringing JW's to the truth. I have a lot of hate for witnesses. I was never one myself, but I was hurt by them when I was younger. I'm trying to give that hate up to God.

Kingdom Interlinear Translation is kind of pricey on Amazon, but can be found for cheap on eBay. Also, it can be used for free on the JW website and on their app! Great video!

I need some help please. If someone can, that would be greatly appreciated. I have woken up and know that this religion is not the truth and my wife and her parents know as well. But I still go and support her as I slowly show her that this isn't the truth. I have been doing this with more so my actions. I have been a far better husband and father since waking up to show her that you can still improve without the help of Watchtower Trac. But I have noticed that she stress when she cant make the meetings or go out in field service. She tell me she feels as if, she is loosing her spirituality. I need help to show her that spirituality is not based on going to the KingdomHall or going out in field service. I need some scriptures that will support what I'm saying and overall some advice on this. Thanks

Mike, I had a run in downtown with 4 JWs today. I've been getting ready learning what to say since getting saved last year, in which your videos played a very large roll in (getting saved and learning), and after the heated street encounter I'm left speechless and amazed. The nonsense said, the fallacies and at times ad hominin attacks were immature at best trying to anger me and I do believe I was spirit led in my words even though I was getting angry at their lies and deceit. In hopes you read this, I have some mind boggling points to unpack They didn't want heaven and asked why I'd ever want eternitry with God. I asked : If I was dying and would be dead tonight, how do I get to heaven? and they flat out said I can't and again asked why I'd want that They didn't understand why i'd want to be with God for eternity. They said our souls are destroyed and the 144000 will inherit earth. They said if hell is real God is evil. I mentioned Galatians 1:8 and they wouldn't respond, in fact they didn't even know what anathema meant. BTW, these were 50-70 year old men, the one claimed to of studied the bible for 50 years. I called them a charlatan and they didn't know what that meant either, ironic. While I gave the gospel, they laughed at it. They said Abraham isn't in heaven???? They said Timothy saying my Lord and GOD was just him generally saying it.... while kneeling in front of and speaking to Jesus... Right. They said the world wont be reformed?? They said psalm 83 says Jesus isn't God? They called me wrong and misinformed when i said the bible says 200 million will march on Jersualem, gave me a hard time as I searched for it, and when shown the verse they back tracked harder then ive ever seen anything backtrack ever. They said Constantine at Nicea made the trinity blah blah but couldn't pronounce Nicea nor did he even know who Arian was. and to let this sink in... He didn't comprehend why id want to be with God for eternity. non of them did. They laughed and mocked the idea of Gods love for eternity. It was like I was speaking to Satan. He said the Greek says in the beginning .... The Word became -A- God and i flat out said you're absolutely lying and thats wrong. There's more as well.... But I'll let you go Sorry for this rant Mike, I tried. If non of them get saved, I at least wasted their time for an hour and no one was deceived into their cult on that afternoon. I don’t think the trinity subject is a way to go with JWs. When I woke up this was the last subject I was interested in. Even now I don’t find it interesting to research. What woke me up was the blood doctrine and failed prophecies. 1914,1925,1975 and the time of Babylon destruction in 607 BC .

I once had my door knocked on by some JW young men. I seemed to make some head way arguing about never adding or subtracting to the WORD. Then the elders came in and swiftly removed the boys. Since that day my door is past by. I do believe they have a never knock again list. I'll bet if my message was New Age or even satanic I would be a mission field for them but since I confess YESHUA as GOD my house is past by. Another good verse is Micah 5:2 born of Bethlehem the leader of all Israel from of old, from everlasting.

What excellent insight! The various approaches are spot on! Having escaped them in 96 I'm well aware and was trained to be well versed in their heresy. I mastered their means of controlling debates with others in what they call "christendom." Though I wasn't born into it, I dove in hard for 4 years and recruited 3 of my best friends and many others. I lost my friends when I left. They shunned me of course. Note Simon and his wife left out the hours spent on bible studies with each of your potential recruits. Ha! I still have an old notebook I recorded all my field time hours and people I was counting time on! They nearly ruined my life!
