CSV files are opened for reading/writing in #python in two methods: separate lines and with keyword structure. This #tutorial explains how to read data from a CSV file and how the function reader works. Then, I demonstrate how to write data as Python lists into a CSV file in two modes of access: writing (w) and appending (a). This tutorial also shows in simple steps that #csv files can be handled in Python from a script file or by using the Python shell. The data is represented in a simple CSV file "cars.csv" which can be written by using any plain text editor, including the Python editor. Note that the extension of the file should be (.csv).
