Hi s I have an older cayman with wired footpedal my remote cable is missing so can I just use footpedal without hand held remote ?

I removed the motor housing from the cradle for a stern mount installation. How can I get the motor to initiate without contact with the cradle. In other words, I want it 'always on' as soon as it connects with the battery.

Hello i recently bought the cayman 55 lbs motor and am having some problems, and have some questions. There are no instruction anywhere on how to connect the foot petal remote, and i can not get it to work, so how is that done? Also is there a way to turn off the beeping? it is rather loud.

If your wireless foot controller will not pair up with you trolling motor, most likely your Hand held remote is still paired to the trolling motor, which is blocking the foot controller from being able to pair to the motor. You need to turn the remote off (I put mind in the house also), disconnect your power to the trolling motor. Then plug the trolling motor back into your battery. (GPS models you will need to wait until GPS system connects) deploy the motor until you hear the beep when the motor powers up. On top of the steering motor housing you will have a pairing button. Press and hold the pairing button while at the same time pressing and holding the power button on foot controller. Once it's paired with motor you will hear 3 short beeps. release both buttons. You just got to remember that only one Bluetooth device can be paired with another at time. So if you want to use the Hand held remote after using the foot controller you will have to go thought the same steps to unpair the the Foot controller and pairing the Hand remotor as listed above.

My old foot pedal will not hold a charge (battery) and I bought a new one online and it will not cink with the motor. Do u know how to fix? Also I cant erase, held button for more than 6 seconds and no beeps.

Johnny is the same and in haswing cayman gps? Because mine work with the hm connector but doesn't work with helmsman

Hello to FRANCE, I wanted to change my WIFI password on my Haswing GPS 55 lbs firmware 103 engine. I followed the procedure of the user manual provided in France "engine and remote control on" on the helmsman app: setting, change to password. 10 characters ok. Then turn off engine and remote control. then turn on engine and remote control. I open the app again. Well, nothing, neither new nor old password works. Please, do you have the solution? I bought the cayman 55lb and after a month, the remote has stopped working. i called the haswing customer service number and the guy told me that aquos was a different company and they couldn't help even though it was labeled as haswing. there is no number that I have found for aquos. anybody got recommendations? the unit itself is good, the remote is the problem.
