Listen up all you Ditherers. This is important. If you are learning how to record WavyWayne is the place to go. I’ve been pouring over the internet for years and I can tell you from a point of wisdom that there are countless mixers, masterers and ditherers that have infinite knowledge of recording but there are very few teachers. Just because you know things doesn’t mean you have the ability to impeccably impart that knowledge to others. You have to be a teacher to do that. WavyWayne is that teacher. PAN KAJ How to find Your Plugins in Protools 11 and up: Step #1 - Verify plugin software is correctly installed First, check whether the relevant plugin file/s are correctly installed on your computer. Go to: Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V10 Mac: Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V10 The relevant plugin file will be named after the plugin, in this format: [PluginName].bundle. For example, the plugin file for Reel ADT will be named Reel ADT.bundle. If the plugins you are looking for are not there, install the plugins by following the instructions in this link. Step #2 - Rescan for Plugins If the relevant plugin files are in the above folders, perform a rescan: Windows: Quit Pro Tools. Press [Win key]+R, type %appdata% and hit Enter. In the Roaming folder that shows, go to Avid > Pro Tools. Locate the InstalledAAXPlugins file and drag it to your desktop Launch Pro Tools. If prompted to Locate the Waves plugins folder, direct to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V10. Mac: Quit Pro Tools. As a producer I usually give around -6db of headroom as a premaster. Does this factor in possible headroom for vocals as well? And let's say if you have a mastered track and are recording vocals over it, how would you approach that? Thanks for everything, much appreciated.

KZfaq monetization Pro Tools is geared more towards the analog side of things along with the recording features where FL is limited to the point that it doesn’t have clip gain automation.

HELP. I need to know how to select a specific section to record. Like it stops recording at the specified end measure without having to manually stop it that way I’m not recording over the following part. Situation: missed a single note on guitar and need to go back and place it.

The best part about your videos is I get to hang with a cool dude and I fit in because you don't see my gumpy, nerdy mug!! Y&R Records yes, they all work very well together...I use the Apollo console app together with protools on the Mac and it works great!

I don't like figuratively being called an idiot, but I liked being treated like an idiot by receiving step-by-step instructions assuming I know nothing. I went through 4 KZfaq videos before I found this one. The others all skip some steps making me go, "how did you do that, that was my problem?". Wayne was so detailed I found out Pro Tools was assigning my track to input 3 when my microphone was in input 1. Wayne has a new subscriber.
