In the previous video I shared my definition of burnout - and this is a logical follow-up video. How do you recover from this disheartening state of burnout and chronic fatigue? I give some of my tips as well as what I did when I faced burnout in 2018. Please be well and enjoy this video :)

ABOUT ME:
My name is Polina, and I am a native Russian who lives in Los Angeles. I have two callings in life - architecture/design & learning and teaching holistic well-being approach. I hold two Bachelor's degrees in psychology and architecture, and right now I am pursuing my M.Arch degree in New York City.

Arghh I'm so annoyed I wrote a really long comment and it's just disappeared 😒 I'm suffering from burn out right now so how great that I am watching your video! I have spent all day on the sofa trying to relax I am off work for 3 weeks as I am tired all the time crying alot feel like I'm going to collapse, I defo have been doing too much, getting time to myself is hard as I work and then the 2 days off a week is spent blitzing the house doing laundry having quality time with the kids running my social media making videos etc, so the one hour or so on a night by myself is really appreciated, phones and social media are too much in people's lives it's really sad isn't it

Very good tips for sure! It's crazy to think that I grew up in a time that cell phones didn't exist and now we CAN'T live without them lol!? Definitely good to step away and take care of yourself.

Love your tips. It's important to take a break and take care of yourself. Like you said it's impossible to achieve goals if you're burnt out. :)

Loved this video and you sharing your experience with us- thank you! It can be so tricky to learn to listen to our bodies and put them first but is so crucial for our wellbeing! I love your tip for getting completely away from the phone too. That is so key! I completely agree- I've been getting off of it completely on the weekends and it feels SO incredible for the mind!
