My first time ever flying business class is with Singapore airlines from Melbourne to Shanghai via Singapore. Having to watch this video made me feel more excited to get an Amex so the next time I do purchase another business class or premium tickets, it’ll be redeemed using my Amex membership points!!! How would I know which partner to choose? Seems like such a hassle to go through researching each one right before I want to travel. Honestly I wish they would just partner with United like chase 1:1.

Thanks for another very helpful video. I have a question, 2 amex pointa per dollar is better than 1 qantas point per dolar spent ? 2 amex points per dolar is better than 1.25 qantas dollar spent ?

Amex points can only be transferred to Qantas if you have the platinum card. These will be transferred at a rate of 2:1. So 1.25 Qantas points per dollar spent is better than 2 amex points.

Hey mate, this is hard to say as it really depends on where you plan to fly to. One thing I can say for sure is that the taxes you have to pay are always low.

How do you transfer points if using more than one AMEX card?

If I understand your question correctly, you can only transfer points across to a frequent flyer account holder of the same name. So if you and another person each have AMEX points, you can't pool them together to one account.
