I was able to get it to work with only one cart by removing it, and closing the door with a missing cart. I okay-ed the error message and reopened the door/reinserted the cart. That seems to have done it! Great tutorial, thank you!

My printer does not allow me to click accept used cartridges. Can I reset my printer to be able to choose to use this cartridge?

So my 8600 won't read it empty if I refill it in time? When I try this with epsons it doesn't read the ink but something else like # prints l. Idk. I just don't want to fill a cartridge and have the printer reject it after a few prints

I dont understand my cartridge (this is my 3rd comment, it keeps being deleted by youtube, maybe because i wanted to show image uploaded to a page). i have taken apart my cartridge 950. its not original, it isnt refillable. it is just 3rd made. But the holes does not have any ball valve inside them. what is even stranger, where you are filling it with ink, that hole on my cartridge doesnt connect to the ink bag, it just connects inside the plastic case. but that hole is also attached to the printhead assembly if inserted! and the hole which is connected to the ink bag isnt connected to the printhead, it is just to keep the spring in place if inserted. if i push a needle inside the hole where you are filling it, it pushes through without going into any ball valve. i cant understand this. thats some kind of david copperfield trick there or something i really badly understand... but the cartridge was working before, because it has been depleted by me.and there isnt any other way out from ink bag... so if i fill through the hole as you are then i fill the empty space inside cartridge case outside ink bag. and since there isnt any valve it just drips out (i have tried water). also if i fill the bag with water through the other hole it drips out because there is no valve. but when there was ink in there before it was not dripping out :D :D shit i think i am drugged or what :D
