How to refill Ink Cartridges / PG-445 - CL-446 ( Canon Pixma Ts3140 and other models )

This tutorial can be helpful for most of Inkjet Cartridges .
Thumbs up if you like this video.
Please note that it's absolutely normal that your printer will no more show the ink level because every ink cartridge has it's own electronic chip that tells the printer if either it's new or used.
They can be refilled many times even with flashing ink lights. If it stops printing don't press CANCEL Printing, Long press the triangular button until you hear the printer getting back to work again 👍

I just chucked my HP because it detects other cartridges but print 💩. Double lines etc. no fixing that, they made sure of that. Have a great day🎉

A good way to get a hole made, to re top-up ink, I found is, with a hot soldering iron. Just heat it up, and dab a small hole, where the screw would normally go in.

Hello! I tried the tip that you gave on some who commented here, but my printer does not recognize my refilled ink and it says that I still have low ink. What can I do? @@realayoub1539 Yes use can use your refilled cartridges normally but keep in mind that the ink level indicator will remain flashing because the system detect that the cartridge is used or refilled .

Long press on STOP Button (Red Triangle) until you hear a sound . And you're good to go. Note : if you're using your printer with PC or Laptop after a cartridges refill, when a pop up message shows that you can't print because ink is running low DO NOT CANCEL PRINTING . Just long press Stop Button until the message disappears and the printer goes back to work 👍 Hope it helps.

Oh! Thanks for the answer. Do not tell me which one is better to take, TS3340, or ТS3140? Are they different in cartridges? And as I understand it, the 3140 is older, and the 3340 is brand new. They are almost identical. The only difference is the ink cartridges. TS3140 uses : 445 / 446 TS3340 uses : 243 / 244 Both are easy to refill as well. It's up to you to choose 👍

Must be the air pressure inside the cartridge. It happens often . Let the cartridge set for a couple of hours outside the printer and try again . Set the printer to High Quality and print some sheets it should release the air pressure inside.

The hole on the cartridge should be a little bit bigger than the syringe needle to free the air pressure inside the cartridge. If it's leaking after refill no problem, you need to wipe off the ink with a clean paper towel and you're good to go

You can do it many times as the cartridges's chip works fine. Once it's burned it's done. I'm still using the original color 446 cartridge for two years without any issue.

That's normal because there is too much pressure inside the cartridge. The hole you make to refill should be a little bit bigger than the syringe head to let the air bubbles going outside freely (as shown in the video). If you do this you'll get a clean refill without too much wasted ink on the bottom.

@@AHMEDADEWALEabbblog Depends on the cartridge itself and how long the micro head nozzles will hold up before getting completely blocked . I'm still using my first color cartridge that came with the printer , on the other hand the black one was blocked after 10 or 11 times of refilling .

14 ml for the black cartridge 5ml color for the color cartridge. I usually fill the syringe and start filling up until a small amount of ink came out. Done
