Important disclaimer: the shoe is almost 7 years old, it has seen better days. If you guys want i can give you the barcode, serial number and all the details required. I can even give you guys the insole's serial number. You guys can go to your locality's nike store or can send an email to nike to check if these are duplicate or original. I bet you can't come to a conclusion just by looking at the shoe in the video. I have restored them multiple times by coating them with acrylic paint. Shoes are shoes be it original or replica and are bound to deter with time. No shoe is indestructible. I hope you can quench your itch by sending a formal email to nike.com. If you Want to do a little experiment at home you can buy original airmax 90s and replica, and dip them in muddy water for atleast 6 days and then throw them under sun for the same duration. You'll get you answer.

So did your gluing work? It's nearly a year now, how are your shoes holding up? Also, I see many restoration videos, hoping you can find good locally available (Amazon) and recommend them for restoring genuine leather (Adidas) sports shoes. Need to first glue the soles though, and that's why I'm here.

I have also experienced this type of shoe soles pealing out for two pairs of shoes. The real reason for this is these brands have shelf life of 2-3 years and once it crosses the date then you have such type of issue with the products. That is the reason the companies give it away on 60% - 70% discounts.

Anyone tried Level Fevicol SR 998? Most of road side cobblers use this adheshive....i repaired my hush puppies slip on shoe done 100kms plus various countries...the glue works well...i remember cobbler ji put few stitches along with glue

Desi products are deliberately designed to fail. Also, they never answer any questions about the formulation of their products, no I didn't ask them for their trade secrets. Your shoes are OK because of the stitches. My Hush Puppies' soles just turned to powder, and while the company was busy compensating customers in the rest of the world, Bata refused to even do a paid repair. Finally, one clerk directed me to their cobbler and I got the soles replaced, with stitches and all... LMAO. They are still in good condition. No wonder Indians don't believe in Atmanirbhar products. Same case with my Woodland shoes, plus they weigh a ton!

shoe goo and E6000 are made for shoes repair. E6000 gives more flexibility thou. But you can barely feel the difference.

For b-7000 It is in absolutely perfect condition. Not even a single gaping separation that i can see even after wearing the shoe during casual football matches. For fevibond, i had to apply a layer of b-7000 because it started separating after 4 wears.

Pidilite shoefix is also extremely strong glue. I used it to stick my woodland shoes. It is white in colour. It is like dendrite but 5 times strong hold, especially on leather/ canvas/ rubber etc.

1. E-6000 or Epoxy 220 (Available on amazon) 2. B-7000 (bought it from amazon and it is quite strong) 3. Loctite 401 (usually available on amazon but you can check other craft websites as well)

Fevibond is flexible after drying. How does b7000 dry is it hard? Then the shoes will lose flexibility

Exactly,,, flexibility is required for almost all types of shoes. So fevibond looks better.

Its actually rs80 in offline market. Price might have increased, but its not more than rs100. But the main thingis what you are repairing. If its sandles and shoes that we wear indoor, fevibond is worth it. And if you are repairing some expensive shoes, then B7000. So price does play a part here bro

Any shoes older than 4-5 years or having contact with water/humid weather can face sole separation. I've been collecting original since 2010 till 2018 after that i started educating myself with replicas and fugezy market. This is necessary because when i was in sneakercon delhi, i saw alot of people telling each other that they got fakes in the name of originals. I may look like i use replicas but i don't, I've been buying them for past 2-3 years only and not using them at all (except the rhyton). I still buy originals but only for personal use and not for review purpose unless they are really hyped or unique.

Wrong comparison, fevibond is General purpose glue for bonding rubber , leather etc and imade for manufacturers or repairing professional , Pedilite made a product "Fevicol Shoefix' for Repairing the footwear.
