Leavind stubs is a new concept, not recomme ded for any other tree type. But i understand better now since cherries fruit close to the branch. Genius

SUPER ! What is the rootstock of cherries? In Bulgaria, the most common is mahaleb.

What spray should be done on cherry tree at flower stage for better fruit setting? My cherry tree blooms good but fruit setting is very poor please gave any suggestions

What varieaty of cherry do you have, it is possible that you do not have good pollination or something in your soil is in deficit. You can use the bormax preparation in flowering to improve a pollination.

do u keep the tree at 3 meters for optimal production and ease of picking? say i wanted to keep it at say 2.5 meters would that make a massive difference ? ty

They would lose a little on the crop, but they would also gain a stronger growth of branches (more pruning) , it all depends on the rootstock you have but you will be fine.
