Hi there! I know this video was posted a year ago but I just found your channel this morning. GREAT find as I'm doing my only bathroom later this summer. I have watched so many bathroom remodels but yours is by far the best I have ever watched. It has some of the same elements that I will have, walk in shower with bench, floor tiles and wall tiles. I really like how your broke it down into steps, wonderful suggestions and projected costs. I am saving this video to show to everyone that will be helping me with my project. Nicely done! FYI - I live in Florida, Pasco County.

I love your channel but I'd like to offer a friendly suggestion. Try slowing down when you pan around the room. You pan around very fast which makes it hard to watch. I feel a bit dizzy. Otherwise, your content is gold. Keep it up!

I wish the remodel was broken into a few videos so we could see everything done in more detail. I would have loved to see the tiling being done, the installation of vents, fixtures etc. Great bathroom remodel!

Excellent video. I also remodeled a small bathroom. It also took me about three full weeks of work when I thought I would be able to get in done in a week. It looks so easy on the home improvement shows on TV. I also went over budget and broke a pipe. Thank goodness your Dad was kind enough to help. It's hard work and full of frustrations. But, every day from now on when you go in that bathroom you will be so proud of yourself and what you accomplished. And, what great memories of working the project with your Dad (and Tucker).

Given the cost of wood try to save those studs that you are removing hit them out with a sledgehammer at the bottom instead of cutting them in half. You can always reuse them for your new layout

Great job, just FYI- when you pan the camera at such a fast speed and do it at a high frame rate it’s really hard to watch without getting dizzy.

Good Tip: use a takeout coffee cup to plug the toilet flange drain. Perfect size.

BEAUTIFUL job! I love all of the white. Idk what kind of person you are married to, but with my hubby I am glad we have a double sink. I love the large rectangular white wall tile going in a vertical fashion. Gave height to the space. Love the giraffe pict. On the video, it is hard to tell, but did you leave an area w/o he baseboard behind the foot of the vanity?

I just finished remodeling bath room .I have a question . Here in Los Angeles the electrical code is ground fault interuptor plugs and breakers in bathrooms and kitchens that are near water fixtures . What about where you live ? Did you have to get building permits ?

8.3K and you have to do everythin except plumbing by yourselves!!! That's more expensive than I expected. I wonder what the cost would be if you hire a contractor to do everything

In N TX, $20-30K. It's about the same in Florida, according to Google searches. Lot of money.

@@brianlam257 You have no idea the quotes given to me by contractors. The last one I talked to said I couldn't take my money with me. I told him he couldn't my money with him either.
