How to Remove 3G TL Rear View Mirror

4 жыл бұрынThis video shows the steps to remove a mirror for a 2004 - 2008 Acura TL Type-S. The steps should be similar for other models with this mirror. Some of the 2G Acura TL/CL (1999-2003) models use this same mirror.
BE VERY CAREFUL REMOVING THIS MIRROR (YOU CAN BREAK YOUR WINDSHIELD). I am not responsible for you breaking your windshield.

Getting the dome light off would be much easier with a trim tool or a small screwdriver covered with electrical tape so it won't get gouged.

The rear view on my 07 type s randomly fell off when I was driving so I used this video to figure out how to get it back on there. Thanks

Yeah pretty much you gotta remove it again and change the spring. It's thin metal piece inside. Part number is 76419-SZ3-J05.

I just bought the New spring and installed it but still it's shaking.
