Thank you for making this, I probably wouldn't have been able to replace the battery without this.

Thank you soooooo much!!! I never expected it to be so complicated to change a battery, but after watching your video I snuck out to the garage while my husband was gone and did it myself!!! The hardest part was finding the tools in the garage lol. Oh and I think I broke the plastic bars that secure the back of the fuse box cover trying to get the cover off....... But yay so thanks again!!!

*****Very Important***** If you open the fuse box and disconnect the C90 kaple. The car will maybe NOT start after you connected it. Disconnected and reconnected the C90 a few times and then the car should start 😉

I used your way of taking my out yesterday on a 2017 Focus. I just never unplugged the connector in the fuse box, and I was able to take the Negative cable off and back on with the battery in the box.

What a pain in the ass and this was the easiest of the videos I saw.

Don't touch the fuse box nor the air box. Release the tabs on back half of battery cover and remove it for full access to terminals. Then release the tabs on the front wall and tilt it forward.

i Changed mine out and all I had to do was lift up on front door as he called it and push out a little on the side panels and almost had to stand battery up on the end and lift it out. Goes back in the same way just stand almost on end and put back in put neg. cable on push back in place pull sides up and push front door down and then put pos. cable back on

Easier to disconnect the negative terminal from the body.

does the focus lose memory when the battery is disconnected ,or could i keep the battery charger connected to keep memory
