A quick video for Porsche 993 owners regarding what happens when you disable the drive block system. In this case, our technicians were installing an upgrade that would allow the owner to turn on the ignition without using the FOB clicker to open the doors or "crank" the car.
When performing upgrades on a 993, the immobilizer light on the right side of the dashboard will continue to blink afterwards because it is detecting a modification has been made to the vehicle. Though this is normal, it can be very annoying and even distracting. The only way to remove it is by taking the clock out, unscrewing the lightbulb manually, and reinserting the clock.
