This video shows how I removed a gas tank from my 2017 Beta 390RRS. I am not a licensed mechanic, so follow this video at your own risk.

Nice...thank you. Was trying to figure out how to disconnect that fuel line coupler underneath on my Xtrainer. Grey button. Bam!

fantastic instructional video - thank you! Question - I know you have another video, but can you tell me how the re-connection of plug in of the (2) electrical connections went and also how did the re-connection of the gas line go? All good? Easy peasy?

Thanks for the comment...I appreciate it!! It was easy...you can do it! Check on my install video...I will tell you which lines (if any) were a pain in the butt for me to install. Keep in mind, this was the first time I've ever removed or installed a gas tank, so I didn't know any tricks of the trade (that's why I shared my experience of getting squirted in the eye with the gas when I disconnected the line). :)

Awesome video..i own a 480 and have some problems with the fuel light. Did you ever had that issue? Its constantly on

No, I don't have issues with the fuel light. Have you upgraded your gas tank? I've heard of people's fuel light go on prematurely after they upgrade their gas tank because the sensor still think it's the stock gas tank and doesn't know there is an extra gallon of gas below the sensor. So I just go by miles ridden and periodically check my gas tank.

Hi Vicki, great video. I just purchased a 2017 500 rrs and the map switch for rain mode was not connected. Is this under the tank as well? Do I need to remove it? Thought you may know! Thank you!

No, I did not have to remove or disconnect the mapping switch when I removed the tank. I've never routed the mapping wire, so I don't know where it terminates.
