Many large mirrors are attached by a thick black adhesive called mastic and are difficult to remove from the wall. This video describes a 4 step process for safely removing your large wall mirrors.
1) Preparation - lay down drop-cloth & apply duct tape
2) Soften the mastic with a heat gun
3) Loosen the mirror with wooden shims, prybars, or cut-out wire
4) Pull the mirror away from the wall
