Many of us use dry erase boards like this; it saves paper and is generally convenient, for example, if you need to quickly write down a useful thought that suddenly arises, make a plan, etc.
For writing, special markers are used, which can be easily erased with a washing machine with a felt backing or a rag, and to completely get rid of traces of what has been written, use a liquid specially designed for such boards.
