How to remove a person for a photo with a difficult background in photoshop. In this Photoshop tutorial, Colin Smith shows 2 different ways to remove people from photos. Thank you for another great tutorial. I also enjoyed the digression during which you explained that this a class where you give examples, and you are not trying to demonstrate what you would consider to be a finished product.

Good stuff as always, Colin - I always get new tips and inspiration from your tutorials. I think what some people don't get is the difference between a 20 minute tutorial and a several hours' long workflow demonstration. I do a lot of compositing, photo-bashing, adding 3D figures/props to existing photos, and typically spend several hours in the process. You can't fit all that into a reasonably short tutorial. All you can do is say "here's how I do it, and here are the tools and how to use them. Now, you go give it a try." And you do it very well. 👍

Fantastic lesson Colin! I have used Clone Stamp for a long time and find it a terrific tool, though wasn't aware of the clone source feature - as with all your tutorials, I've learnt something new that can only improve my PS skills. Loved your comments on critics !!! Thank you!!

Hi, will you please make a tutorial about file storage and backup system. I am looking for the best way to store, edit and backup my images. I end up by 2 TB images and my Mac docent space for all of it and Lightroom Catalog is by itself took enough space.

They are 2 different shots! I made a comment to quickly. Apologies. Probably could of used a better example. You wouldn't want to remove the model in this shot, you would want to remove the distracting elements in the background.

Sorry to say but that is shocking, I am glad I never watched the whole video you can see all kinds of blemishes in the after. A two year old can do better than this. I am not a graphics artist, I suck at art, but I could do better than this.
