T30 screws are on the bottom, is that what you were referring to? If you remove those it will slide on the rail but they need to be in that exact position because they actually screw into the side railing in a very specific spot where the internal nuts are. What are you looking to do?

@@WeTryMotorsports I have a bit more headspace for my garage - 7'9" - so I only need to gain 3-6". The "rails" dip down in the front, so it seems that if I could slide the Bimini forward on the boat, it would lower the part of the Bimini that's causing the most problem (the folded canvas part). Since it's an actual rail, my thinking is that perhaps loosening all four (two on each of the "pillars") of the T30's would enable the entire top to slide to the front of the boat - giving me that additional space without fully removing the Bimini. Am I making sense at all? Only going by pictures, so may be all wet of course... Thanks for all the content by the way - fantastic!

@@AveryBechtel thanks for watching!! in your case it may be possible to slide it forward to drop it an additional few inches but I would not bet on that fitting properly. if you slide it all the way forward and drop it off the front, it may allow for a little bit more leeway. also you can get a significant drop hitch to put it into the garage by lowering the front almost down to the ground. that may give you enough room to squeeze it in but I'm not a hundred percent on that

@@WeTryMotorsports If you'll indulge me one more question on this - if I loosen/remove a combination of the screws on the rear pillars (T30's, Hex's or both) will that free up the rear pillars and allow the Bimini to hinge on the front pillars - thus lowering the front of the Bimini?

@@AveryBechtel Loosening the bolts won't do anything, but removing them will. If you remove all, the bimini will completely come lose and drop, so be careful. You can leave the two upper onces attached or slightly loosened, but do not remove them if you're just trying to slide the bimini on the rail. The bottom T30 screws have to be completely removed to move the bimini on the rails since those screws attach to the rails themselves... let me know if this makes sense!

yes, but you have to find a dealer that sells one. they're roughly $3500 last I checked

sure can, this is a switch compact sport. if you're talking about a switch compact base model you can buy the Bimini but it cost about $3500 from Sea-Doo

@WeTryMotorsports is there a way to quickly detach and reinstall Bimini top? I have 3 bridges to get under. Right now with high water levels there's one bridge I can't get under with Bimini top on in the down position

I have the same problem (8' garage door with 92" of clearance) and I think I just asked the same question. BRP says it's 8'2" (98") high and someone else on YT "roughed it" to be just over 8' - did you actually get a 94.5" height?

@@AveryBechtel It was close to that. I have a small incline into the garage which helped but i ended up taking the entire bimini off and using the perforated steel pipe hanger (roll) to tie the railing together on both sides (using the same screws with plastic washer spacers where the bracket was. I coverd it with black electrical tape and nobody notices. I can now back it in without unhooking from my Navigator SUV which has a pretty high hitch point with my terrain tires. I'm putting the cheap bimini from Amazon on later. But I like it off. We just use it to get to kiteboarding spots, wake boarding and fishing. I dont miss the top rattling around and getting in the way. I replaced the rear view mirror with a video rear view camera mrror from Amazon for less than $100 mounted just above the dash. Suggested that to BRP...easier to scan. Good luck.

@@AveryBechtel We usually had the bimini rolled up overhead and cruising 3-4 foot seas to our kite spot. When deployed and in calmer waters it is pretty sturdy. It's a nice bimini for sure especially compared to others.
