Good morning Eddie. Great stuff. Thanks for not leaving out the pain in the but stuff that happens. Actually this entire process is a pain in the butt. Im raised on the Jersey shore marinas working with my dad doing everything boats but mainly fiberglass gelcoat repair and fabrication of custom fiberglass. Ive removed thousands of feet of stripe with and without a rubber wheel. You said perfectly when you said you'd rather remove the glue instead of color sand and compound. For me it comes down to preference and condition of the vinyl and how much gelcoat is on the hull. When that stripe is really brittle sundried and cracked like out here on az, the wheel is perfectly suited. I'd rather wet sand and compound than chemicals. Just my preference. You said "Always use a sanding block" dude Your hired!!! Ever been to lake Havasu city? 😊 I've covered to a warm climate and fresh water boats. I recommended it for all. I lovemy job and i'd enjoy contributing some of my knowledge in future content if your interested .
