I guess it use batteries, I was kinda of surprised it’s not wired it.

I am guessing it's not wired due to the doors being removable. All other Ford and Lincoln products they are hardwired in. The only time it uses batteries is if you buy it after the fact and didn't get it from the factory with the keypad option.

Warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun. Don’t melt it, but get it warm. It will soften the adhesive if it’s stubborn.

Awesome tip! Thanks. Off subject question...If you take the fenders of that model... Would the wheels be fully covered under the body? I would be working on building one with a retro On Road look, more slim looking.

I took delivery July 11th (2023) and it is now Jan/2024: Can I still do this procedure safely? I'm in Nebraska, so it's not "oven hot" here in the summer.

Is there any downside to doing this? Does the keypad have to be in range of the doors to work effectively? It’s a really awesome idea!

Have you tried to start the car after locking the keys in the cab with the keypad? Wondering if it actually works

Can be re-located anywhere there is a smooth surface. We like the hidden gas door because, well it's hidden.
