Auto Repair Guys! What's that second wire for in the bottom of the back of the center console for the wire that you said that you could just leave disconnected and that some models don't have them well I was switching the back of the center console to the new car I have, and it doesn't have the wire! Which I could disconnect the black part from the old piece and put it in the new piece but I don't have the wire to install into it (unless I remove 1 whatever it's connected to inside of the center console to connect it to the back of the center console piece) and what is wire for?

love you videos, have helped a lot, now by any chance do you have any recommendations on how to remove a sbk cable for a 2012 328i? there are a few, actually one but the connection is completely different the cable is not in the middle but rather towards the wheel. I am going to remove rear wheel skirt and check... thank you..

I just completed repairing the aux port that had come loose as well as the cup holder that had come out of place. You don't need to unclip the wires, just take of the centre trim, unbolt the front and back with the 10's just to so you can raise the console. You don't have to take the console out, you can raise it and work from the side to push everything back in place. It's much easier with someone to help. Be careful when removing the back panel, there's a lot of little clips and such that could easily break.

all you need is the correct color code, any paintshop can mix it for you then.

How many pins do the telephone cable have

There will either be two or three cables (the third cable is for USB and is hooked up at the back of the center console) The two main cables are as follows: one positive and one negative for the antenna. Then 18 pins for the other cable. The third cable that most don't have is purely for USB. It has four pins.
