Man... Baking Soda does tricks to remove all the strains of black tea and coffee from the coffee mug indeed... I just noticed that brown strains from black tea has been stuck there for months in one of my favorite mug my friend gave me years ago for my birthday, then I tried your methods for removing strains and it worked...... but I did use more baking soda that amount of baking soda you used in this demo for removing strains from mugs... next time, will try this methods and no need to worry about buying new mugs all the time due to these pesky brown strains stuck inside cups....it will save money for sure...... 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Or wet the inside of the cup. Sprinkle table salt into it. Rub the salt around the cup interior for 15 seconds. Rinse with water. Presto clean cup in 15 seconds.

This works very well. I've been soaking my mugs in trisodium phosphate to remove stains, and I fill my thermos with hot water and TSP for the same purpose. I like this better for mugs assuming it doesn't scratch them (I don't think it will since my dentist recommends brushing with baking soda to remove tea stains from teeth). But I will stick with TSP for the thermos. Thanks.

@@ahmadthebest2266 Trisodium phosphate, it's usually used to clean walls before painting but it's excellent for cleaning tea and coffee stains off stainless, glass, and glazed ceramics. just soak them for 20 minutes, rinse, and wash them with dish detergent, no scrubbing. Please don't use it on painted surfaces unless you are going to repaint it. A disconcerting use allowed by the FDA is the removal of bacteria from large cuts of meat.

This idea worked quite nicely and I say that referencing a dollar tree coffee mug, dollar tree sodium bicarbonate, and a dollar tree sponge! I knew this idea before but forgot the formula and that. Thanks.

Was mixing a batch of baking soda for my cups. Sprayed some degreaser on them while mixing the paste. The Degreaser did the job

Neither baking soda, nor vinegar didn't work to remove coffee stains. Pink paste worked out pretty well

We put in just a small amount of bleach in each cup and then fill it up with water and let it sit for a few minutes.
