Just saved this video after spending 45 minutes trying to get fashion contacts out. Evertime I use them I forget that getting them in is actually easy, taking them out is the hard part. I have a really hard time overriding the instinct to blink so I have to take deep breaths and sort of detatch from what I'm doing the whole time. When I finally got them out I looked straight into the mirror, moved them to the side and focusing really hard on not blinking grabbed them with my index and middle finger the way most people do it from the bottom. I never would have thought to look in the mirror form the inner corner of the eye, slide to outter corner and grab with my index finger above my thumb the way you did. It makes perfect sense because doing it your way allows you to look in the mirror without having to really see the process straight on and changing the way you pinch the contact out to your way helps to keep the eye open as you take it out! Thank you so much, I've watched so many tutorials and your way absolutely makes the most sense and seems failproof.

You are my life saver!!!! I wore contacts for the first time and started to panic that I could remove them and saw your video and I got them out within seconds back to back, when in the clinic it took me an hour to remove one. I am good at putting them in, but not taking them out. I am also good at removing the right contact then the left eye so when I was struggling with the right I knew the left was gonna be worse.

It is a little helpful, but your nails aren’t as long as mine. When I tried this my nails were in the way. It’s frustrating because I wore contacts for over 10 years. I stopped for another 10 years then got them again. Now I’m panicked because I can’t get them out. Lol

this is so easy! some lady said to look to the edge of your eye and blink (did NOT work after like 30 tries) then i found your video and did it in seconds! i think your the same content creator who taught me how to put it in really easy too. Thanks for the help doc!
