removing copper wire from electric motor core/ electric motor stator without cutting or very minimal cutting. I do this because I make metal sculptures and I might need several long lengths of copper wire. I could go buy it but why buy it when I can just recycle what I already have. brief demonstration of making a Scorpion sculpture at the end of video.

Right on. I did a follow up video showing why I took the copper our like that. I made a tree from the steel and copper

There is no way I would ever..... EVER use that method...... but I'm a scrapper. The scorpion is way cool.

You don't have to. It's just another way. It all depends on what you doing with the copper. If your only recycling it cut it out don't waste your time. I think I explained that in the video

I think the hammering the machete thru the middle of the core trick used by Scrapitall is best way to separate motor in two, then pry out copper with screwdriver. Grinders are dangerous & waste metal. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edaRf6uZlpiloIk.html

There are easier ways. But I was trying to get the wire out without cutting
