Fantastic job. The window in the drivers door fell inside on my Civic. Turns out that the bolt for the glass mount came unscrewed and fell off. I had no experience, but this video let me fix it myself. Thanks tgmac8288.

Good video! You may want to use plastic pry tools on the bottom of door panel as a screw driver may scratch the paint. But very good and you don't use too many words which makes it very easy to follow! Great job!!

Used this video to help install my new window weather strip (inner) on my 2010 Honda Civic Lx. I bought thr new piece from Honda but was procrastinating on installing and tried once before. The part with the clip wires originally & the black top got me stuck. I used a screwdriver to *push out the clips as I pulled them out, and it helped. The black top, I was able to get raised like in the video but when I went to pull it out a piece broke off and the main screw stayed in place. I accidentally cracked the edge a little but it ended up coming out😭. It still went back into place in the very end. Overall for a super amateur, I was able to do it by myself with another person help at the end to remove the door panel. Thank you!

Thank you! I needed to see how the door lock assembly was removed. I was afraid I was going to break it. The white plastic weather barrier has come loose inside both rear doors allowing rain to flood the rear floor board.🙂👍

After removing the door panel how could i keep a slim jim from easy accessing its way in. Someone has pulled apart my door and has tried to gain access multiple times. i have scraped paint and torn up weather stripping. It is a matter of time before some punk gets the hang of the slim jim and vandalizes my civic. thank you

So I dropped a parking card into to window. Came here to learn how to open to see inside the door. I did watch like three more videos just to be safe. Long story short, it’s super easy. You just need a flat screwdriver, and a Phillips screwdriver. For the back doors, there will be an extra Phillips screw to undo by the center of the door, and there will only be one cable block connected to the window controller. I probably saved myself $30 and learned something new.

For those who dont understand. Take the control unit off then take the screw out. Under the door handle,take that screw off then you should be able to pop the door off
