Excellent video helped me get my left side of bumper off as had leak in the boot. I managed to get the nut off innerside by white clip with a spanner 🔧 without having to pull the bumper back. Might of been lucky as mine is a late mk2.5 facelift from 2011 and the bolt wasn't seized. Great video either way.

How do you hold the other side of that 10mm bolt with that white plastic bit in the way? Want to seal my rear vents as there leaking water into the boot ?

Without such a stupid question maybe the guy has done thr same as me, done it 3 or 4 times before and people annoyed him too much and asked him and he's done a video. Same with me I've taken Golf's apart but not fully apart for fb videos and said there's x torx and x mm bolts left on the other side. No way have I ever encountered such a wanker quite like you to assume someone else's abilities. Such a stupid question man how do you know😂🤦♂️

Have the same exact issue. Can't get access to that 10mm bolt. The most crucial part is missing from the video

@@Xotty I do have the exact issue myself I did see one video where someone just drilled a hole in the plastic because they couldnt reach it but I will continue to search for a damage free solution. I probably will try to somehow hold the thread of the screw with pliers next. Would appreciate if someone could share a proper solution, somehow it had to get assembled in a factory (if they didnt weld the plastic on afterwards). My car: Ford Focus mk2 2008 3-door 1.6 Tdci

@@sushionroad4859 Later I noticed that even if I could have access I won't be able to take off the rear bumper without damaging it as it is riveted onto some other part. Anyway I found out it's probably not leaking from there but from somewhere up next to rear lights just can't figure out where the water is excatly coming from. It's not the rear lights, could be from the roof, don't know.

@@sushionroad4859 Towbar fitters just cut them off, and leave it like that, there's still the two 7mm bolts, 4 torx screws and 2 plastic Phillip's screws, it isn't going to fall off.
