In daily MacBook Pro repair, unlocking of ID activation lock is a commonly faced issue that a customer approaches us with.
For example, ID activation lock will appear on the system activation interface once the MacBook has been restored. Or If you forget the ID and passcode, the macbook can’t be activated.
To activate the macbook again, the activation lock needs to be removed.
Today we will share the entire process of how we removed the activation lock of one such MacBook that came in with the activation lock and how we went about fixing that issue for one of old time friend and customer.
We need an external tool in order to carry out this process.
This external tool is called the UFIX U-BOS2.
We do the BIOS reprogramming for the T2 chip of the MacBook so as to remove the wipe out the embedded codec inside of the chip that is responsible for the activation lock.
