Hey! Thanks for the video it is helpful. I do have a question that possibly you can help with...I removed my 2017 Q50 bumper but there are two supports called 'Bumper Cover Stiffener' that dropped when I pulled the bumper and I have NO idea where they reattach. Any thoughts?

@@AnishNothoo Thanks! Funny thing is after looking for it in your video (I missed that twice!) I went out to the garage and boom figured out where they went. So all is good in Infiniti land again. Now I just need to find a headlight assembly...groan, so expensive!

Thanks for the video. I have a question that you may know the answer to... I want to remove the grill emblem on my 2016 and add the radiant led emblem that 2018+ have. I was told the emblem just snaps off without removing the bumper, but do you know if that's true? Parts at Infiniti told me the led emblem won't work on my year but only because it's not pre-wired for it. Thanks!

Daniel D technically you could pop the emblem out without removing the bumper but you would have to have realllyyyyyyy small hands that can fit behind the bumper. Also, if you’re trying to install the led emblem you would have to tap into your DRLs or something like that so it would be better to just take the bumper off cause you’ll have that much more space to work with. Last thing, I’ve seen posts on Facebook where there’s a new type of led emblem that doesn’t “bleed” into the grille so make sure you get the type you want 😊

@@AnishNothoo Thanks for the feedback! You've seen an updated emblem that doesn't bleed light up the grill? do you have a link? The reason I was going to go with the OEM ($400) is because the cheaper $100 ones you see on ebay bleed lots of light up and down the grill. It doesn't look as good and afraid it'll shine into the front camera. Thanks

CynemaFN hello brother ✌️ I did not touch the fog covers at all. They are the oem ones that come with the sport bumper. The chrome pieces come with the premium bumper and I think if you want the wants that are on my car then you’re gonna have to do a front bumper conversion. Hope that helped 😃

Show a video of how you put those brackets connecting the the top part of bumper to the top of the fender so the hood lines stay flush

Hey man need your help. When to put back the bumper, how do you connect it back to the side black bracket? Do you just push it in hard? And they screw on the 10mm bolt? Talking about connecting the bumper to the side fender ?

Anish Nothoo At 7:03 is when you remove the bumper from the side. The problem that I am having is connecting the bumper to the side fender again.

nah you dont have to, just remove the tray under the hood and reach with your hand

Do you know anything about the spacer strip that goes between the upper gap above the headlight? Im not talking about the stiffener bracket with the bolt. I ordered the spacer and i literally got a package with a little clear piece of rubber about the same thickness as a few sheets of paper. It that a genuine part?

Hey man. You don’t have the front camera on yours do you? I crashed my q50 a couple months ago and I need to replace the grill. I’m trying to see if I can get any grill bc from the pics I’m seeing none of them have a space for the front camera

Good video, and I DID learn alot as I am getting ready to do this on my q50, so thank you for that. One clarification on what you said about the vvivid wrap in the beginning. Its not the wrap that's bad, its how you installed it. Vinyl can only be stretched to a certain extent. You didn't properly install the wrap (with inlays) and thats why its peeling up. Not your fault as I assume you arent a professional vinyl installer.

Dylan Simmons glad I could help! And yes you are 100% correct vvivid is a good wrap there is no denying that. If I had used inlays it would have definitely held up. However, after wrapping my antenna in one piece with Avery (video coming soon) it is only fair to say that Avery is a much better brand in terms or workability and it does not peel back once heat has been applied. Hopefully my roof wrap video will help picture what I mean by that 😊

@@AnishNothoo yeah, in my limited experience, I think different wrap brands have strengths and weaknesses in different areas. One thing that helps pull back is pre stretching / heating the material before it's on the car, so when you post heat it doesn't shrivel up. If you haven't already, take a look at @ckwraps based in Toronto, this guy is an absolute beast and a master at vinyl wrap. Looking forward to that roof wrap video, love anything DIY on a q50, gives me so many ideas for mine.

Are you talking about the lower grill? If so, I painted mine gloss black and re installed it

@@AnishNothoo I was talking about the upper grill surround ... I ended up swapping it out with an oem black and kept the gray center mesh because my car is the graphite shadow and it looks good ! Followed your video to take the front fender off so thank you ... Now I want to swap out the luxe lower grill with a mesh sport style but I don’t think they are interchangeable ?

@@nickskolsky2560 Oh sorry I misunderstood the first comment. I don't think the lower parts are interchangeable as the bumpers are different shapes. Maybe it's something you could DIY but would definitely take some time...

I tried to remove the bumper but it stuck at the point right under the headlights line, both side. I won's dare to pull it too hard that I might break the internal clips. Do you have anytip for that?

yeah happened to me when I first started. my tip would be to just send it mate and make sure you're pulling towards the front of the car

Alpha V I think If I were to wrap it again I would get Avery Dennison wrap. Don’t use vvivid for the grill it will peel back on you

it was bought from a local shop but I linked it in the description where you can buy it on eBay for a very similar price. I heard from ppl that the price was something insane like $5000 so that just means that they are out of the grille. just search up on ebay and you will find it.
