Finally a video that I'm looking for. Thank you so much. Now I know how to remove the front light console on a jaguar. Now I just need to have a Jaguar to do it. Thanks again.

Thanks, worked perfectly for my 2012 XF. Glad I didn't try to open from the front lens. Would have been a big mistake. You have to remove the panel to access the back of the bulb to twist it out.

hello, thanks for the video. i want to remove the courtesy lights above the rear seats, but i'm afraid of breaking something. Do you have pictures or links where i can see how please?

Hello, unfortunately I don't have this far anymore so I am unsure how to remove the rear light.

Thank you for that. My lights are playing up, and not always coming on when I open the door. I have to reset them then they work. In the hot weather the centre light will come on randomly when driving so I have to touch it to turn it off. I am guessing the connections in the console need reseating and the lights cleaning up ? That's what I did to fix one of my rear fog lamps, so hopefully this will do the trick.

Hi Dave, yes you should check the connections for the bulbs. and check for any damp in the light assembly, this could suggest a windscreen leak and maybe that the PCB has got damp

Yes it's all sorted out now. Thank you. A thorough clean up and reseating any connections I could find by unplugging them and plugging back in again. Lenses cleaned inside and out.

Re: XF Interior light keep coming on There is a mod for this known Jaguar fault on your interior lights. It involves removing the roof console, separating the circuit board from the lamp holder and applying some grease/petroleum jelly to part of the circuit board.should take your dealer about 15 mins,it is a known fault so try get them to do it as a "goodwill" gesture. see: www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=39890

I guess you don’t have to remove the hole thing for bulb replacement?

levyveress83 Hi, the bulbs are located in the back of the panel that you remove. You need to do exactly what is in the video to access the bulbs.

Hi Davids Wifey, Do all 3 of the bulbs flash? if so it sounds like it could be a wiring or circuit board issue. if it is just 1 of the bulbs you should check the bulb connection for corrosion. Sometimes damp can cause these issues, although if you have any sign of damp in the light assembly you should get your front window checked for leaks.

No, see powerfulukltd video on how to change interior light bulbs on the range rover evoque to see that the glass alone can be removed to get direct access to the light bulbs, simply by inserting a card in the front of the glass part at two places.
